Windows bar showing up in-game

When I load the game, the windows bar at the bottom stays there in the loading screen and throughout the game so I can't click the navball in map-view (which made the launch of my STS-8 quite difficult). I exited out and loaded it back up and it was still there. Is this because I haven't downloaded the 2.2 update yet?

I put this on the modded installs because I do have several mods on there (though I'm sure this isn't the problem.)

Are you using Windoze 10? If yes, then the problem might come from Windows. I had the same problem; killing the Desktop Window Manager through the Task Manager restarted it and fixed the problem for me.

You know, @Gaarst , well he's right. It was a Windows system update that caused this. Normally, the updates are supposed to require a reboot... This past update involved Microsoft Edge, Defender, and Office shell, but didn't trigger a reboot...
