Is there something that I am aware of.  I can't seem to figure out how to post an image vs just a link to an image in the forums.

If you use imgur, you can use the copy link image and post it here, it will format into a picture. (Unless that's what you're doing, than I have no idea.)

Moved to the Kerbal Network, the forum about the forum.

If you want to embed the image, just paste in an URL ending in the file extnsion (.jpg, .png, .gif, whatever) and it will automagically embed. It will pop up a gray bar that will give you the option to leave it as a clickable URL instead of embedding.
