Largest landing gear for SSTO possible?

I'm making large SSTO and the issue is I would like to have as large as possible landing gear. I've tried LY-99 Extra Large Landing Gear increased by 200% and 300%, now the problem is that when you retract them, it creates way too large force that just throws SSTO in the air at least 200 meters.

Question is, is there a mod I'm missing, is any other way of making really large landing gears or should this be in bugs section?

Wow sounds awesome that the landing gear is in fact take off gear... who needs VTOL when you have super spring legs

This vehicle was built using tweakscale, problem is when you set wheels size to maximum it turns into giant grasshoper.

I prefer to use the huge rover wheels. I find that they will make a plane look ridiculous, so I advise you only to use them on only the most stupid of crafts..... (Ahem, my ugly- duckling type 1 skipper- powered in-air drone deployer)

Includes the old 'Adjustable Landing Gear' models.  Scaling is supported -- make them as big or small as you want.  Also comes with lots of other wheel/track/etc parts.
