Scientific Naming of Kerbal

This is small, just a little idea I had: the scientific classification of Kerbals.

Domain Eukarya- cells have nuclei

Kingdom Animalia- moves, eats

Phylum Chordata- Has a spinal chord

Class Virentia- Latin for "green things"; a cross between Mammals and plants

Order Primates- walks upright

Family Kerbalidae- Kerbal-Like

Genus Kerbo- Kerbalized version of Homo

Species hebes- Latin word suggesting at Kerbals' not-all-that-intelligent-ness.

Thus concludes the scientific classification of Kerbo hebes.

I like where you are going, but right now, most people are just going to pass this for lack of content. Content is what must be provided in quantity. Here's some likes to show my favor for this initiative.

How about classifying the various plant life found on Kerbin and Laythe?

Life forms known in the Kerbal universe:

  • Short grass (ground texture)
  • Cactus (ground scatter)
  • Long grass (ground scatter)
  • "Pine" tree (ground scatter)
  • "Oak" tree (ground scatter)
  • Mystery goo (science results)
  • Kerbals (astronauts)
  • Anonymous Laythe Life (hypothesized origin of oxygenated atmosphere)
  • Joolean Algae (hypothesized origin of Joolean green color)
  • Equus (possibly mythological or anecdotal, it's a "four legged neighing landcreature" according to the stock craft AeroEquus's description.)
  • Birds, Albatross, Ravens, Fleas (referred to by various stock craft names and descriptions)
  • Birds/Tweeting Animals (heard in the KSC scene during the day)
  • Insects/Chirping Animals (heard in the KSC scene at night)
  • "spider," "ant," "terrier," "poodle," "boar," "rhino," "mammoth," "panther," "flea" (engine proper names)
  • Dunan Kerbals (Depicted as a large red head pointed towards the sky on Duna.)
  • Kraken (A sea creature on Kerbin, as seen in the Kerbal Science animated short)
  • Deep Space Kraken (What happens if you let a radioactive Kraken aboard your science ship in the short / persistent existential threat / bug / dead creature on Bop)

The question now: what's their taxonomy?
