KernelBase.dll

Recommended Posts

After accidentally installing an incompatible mod, KSP and other Unity games have all crashed on startup. I have tried re-installing the games and have just finished re-installing windows, but even with a fresh windows install, they still crash.

Any suggestions?

UPDATE: The 32 bit version of KSP works fine, but the 64 bit version is still broken.

FINALLY FIXED: Ran SFC through CMD and it repaired the corrupted dlls

While I'm not such of a good programmer, i'm pretty sure you're going to have to delete and uinstall unity. To do this just search in your searchbar for "unity" and there should be a program popping out "uinstall unity". However, to completely and surely delete it, you're going to have to delete all the registries. How you do this (you might already know) is that you need to find the "run" tab on your search bar (depending of course which Windows you have) and type "regedit", then when you're in the program, expand

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Unity Technologies\Unity Editor, right click and delete

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Unity\UnityEditor and again, delete it

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Unity\WebPlayer and delete it

And now, install it again. Thats my suggestion I guess. I don't know if it will work or not, but its good to give it a try.
