The console deception

Bought the game after watching several utube videos and the immersion captivated me. But the thing is that I like to play on console and I don't have a gaming pc (don't want to get one eighter) so I bought it for the ps4 believing at least I would have access to the same parts as the pc version if I bought the expansions. Never had any hope for the mods.  But got really liquided when I found out that the options to expand are none. SQUAD should really inform about this in the psn site. At least inform that the the way SQUAD intended the game to be played and the options for buying expansions may differ a lot from platform to platform. Are they even manning the console support?

The console version is being ported by a different company.  Unfortunately, they're a bit slow incorporating updates from the PC version, and ultimately, not all of the features of the PC version are currently compatible with consoles.  As @steve_v mentioned though, they are working on an update to bring some of the current features to consoles.  Alas, I think you'll find that true of any popular PC game ported to consoles after PC release, the companies handling the ports just can't keep up with development of the original.

 

TBH, this game really shines best on PC, not just because that's what it was originally developed for, but because of the active modding community.
