I'm not sure but I think probably someone has already posted the link, otherwise I followed the tuto very interesting, here is the example in full files blenders and textures, it works completely, I joined the tank for testing in KSP.

collection in blender

Collection : model -> The original model mesh for baking textures

Collection : export -> Export mu model to ksp + cfg file

 the blender file
