Running into bugs when regarding Farings

Recommended Posts

developing an Apollo style ship I connect my main flight module with the Lander via docking connectors  then to the main rocket underneath so I'm trying to seal the Lander with a fairing, but for some reason the fairing that I build does not want to seal right I see that things have been updated regarding the fairing.. in the past I have been able to close the fairing properly around the hull of the ship  but I have been unable to so maybe it's a bug or something please help im on Xbox One S

It’s not a bug... the fairing closes differently following the update... if you want to close the fairing around a fuselage part you have to “end fairing,” or something like that (don’t have the game in front of me), there is no more “close fairing” option unless it is to close it to a point (at the apex of your craft). On console it seems to be a bit finicky,  but if you’re patient, you can eventually get it to close properly (I did an Apollo-style mission yesterday, and it took a few tries to enclose my MEM and service module in the fairing.
