That's a good idea.  If you want to change lifting ability , open KsExoSkeleton.cfg(path:KHSK/Parts/KSExoSkeleton/KSExoSkeleton.cfg) , there is a parameter called "liftMuilty". The final lift ability per kerbal is  588.399N * liftMuilty .
