Maneuver anti-node

I just discovered this today and maybe this is common knowledge and I'm just an idiot, but in IVA (at least in the 1 man pod) there is an "anti-maneuver-node" marker. It looks like the retrograde marker, except in blue (and is obviously opposite the maneuver node icon). This is not present in external view. I don't recall seeing this discussed. I'm just wondering how widely known/used this is. I could really find it useful in external view as well - sometimes I spend too long hunting for my maneuver node target.

Wow, never knew that. Would certainly be useful in external view. It can often be infuriating, particularly with a slow turning craft, spinning around trying to find the blue marker while you sail past the burn point

But why would this be in IVA and not external?

I have no idea. Maybe the same reason there is a radar altimeter in IVA but only ADL in external.

Also, just verified it is in the cupola module too. Seems likely it is in all of them then.

Finally! I've been searching for a mod that makes an anti-maneuver node because I sometimes turn my pods upside down for landers or manned satellites and such and then everything is backwards (Prograde is actually retrograde and retrograde is actually prograde, etc.).

Try EnhancedNavBall. It shows the ghost/direction of the marker on the navball.

This almost looks like Enhanced Navball actually. Are you sure this is stock? No offense, it just strikes me as an easy oversight.

It looks stock. With Enhanced Navball there should be a Radial in marker in the brown, and a normal/anti-normal ghost on the artificial horizon line.

In my experience, those disappear when a maneuver node is set up, so that pic could be with Enhanced Navball.
