Mechjeb Orbits and Autopilot

So what had happened was....

I get into space using Mechjeb to get into an orbit, but then I realize that it's not orbit I want. I try and change the orbit using the Mechjeb ascent autopilot and nothing happens.

What did I do wrong?

Once in space, how do I use MechJeb autopilot to change orbits?

Ascent guidance is just for the launch, I believe.

Maneuver planner -> Change both ap and pe -> Create and execute node.

Might want to use Circuralise when done.

What do you mean it's not the orbit you want?

Is the inclination correct?

Does the difference is only a few KM?

Does the orbit look circular?
