Is this where the name Moho came from?

"The Earth's upper crust and sample the warm, mysterious area where the crust and mantle intermingle-- the MohoroviÄÂić discontinuity, or "Moho." from Damn Interesting. Could this be what the hot rocky planet closest to Kerbol is named after? I guess it makes sense Moho the planet is rocky and very hot so I guess it is a mix of hard crust and molten rock like Moho the geologic term.

Some of the devs have mentioned being fans of Total Annihilation, which used to have a resource building named Moho mines as in very deep mining at the mantle boundary. They'd know about the Mohorovicic discontinuity.

I'm pretty sure that is where the name comes from.

The only Moho i ever knew until this game, is right here in town (in Canada).. Its a bar -- "Montreal Steakhouse/Hotel" or Mo-Ho for short.. lol..

Indeed, there was a Moho in Manchester (not related to Montreal steak, unfortunately!) as well, but it's changed its name since..
