I just unpacked it and had a look. Nice pretty gear but you will probably want to revisit the engines (I know, first release etc) as the numbers seem to be all over the place. Compared against stock, KW and AIES engines some of the DU parts are not very compelling (eg heavier than a mainsail, less efficient and less thrust). Of course you don't want to be a carbon copy but so your parts are in the same ballpark.

One other thing that struck me was using underscore '_' in part names, those get converted to full stops '.' internally to KSP and it can be annoying to match the names up. But hey, at least there's no spaces ;)

Worked some on the Ausplane and it's in game now. The next step is to rework the cfg files and allow it to actually glide instead of dropping like a brick.

I like this. Are you planning on adding auto-shrouds for the engines?

Haven't planned this yet.

The next step is to get a working version of the Ausplane released.

After that I'll see how much work the 0.4 parts would need to have 0.23 functionality and update textures.

Maybe from that point on all the 0.5 parts will get extra stuff like auto-shrouds.

There hasn't been a lot of work done on the Ausplane, mainly because I'm too busy with doing other stuff.

I'm looking for someone who has experience with configuring plane parts who wants to overhaul/recreate the cfg files.

Send me a PM if you want to help out.
