Author's note: " A Way to space " doesn't mean they haven't gotten to space. In a sense, it means " This is a (Different) Way to get to space (Be an astronaut). " Also, Comments and Ratings welcome. I will take constructive criticism!

" A Way to Space " Ep. 1 The Landing Part. 1 Prologue

The nine felt their stomachs turn while the spacecraft rotated aimlessly. Suddenly the small ship came to a stop. Jonsey Kerman, a courageous but now woozy Kerbal crawled out of the hatch. Jonsey slumped onto the ground, he then pushed a small silver stake into the ground. The stake extended into a flag.

The flag read:

Flight #9012 Costumers: Jill, Jonson, Kybi, Slochic, Vuni, Vito, Fusho, Hurby Instructor: Jonsey

[Contract Completed!] +50000 Kurbency earned.

The eight other Kerbals eventually climbed out, eyes disturbed from the immense light of their sun, Kerbol. The eight (Excluding Jonsey) finally began to comprehend what experiences they had gone through. They then high-fived each other and squealed in excitement.

As the group of eight left, Jonsey remained. He said, "We hope you had a good time at Super Spaceâ„¢ Kommercial spacelines. Remember to pick up your promotional mugs and K-Shirts! You can rate your instructor on Kelp."

" A Way to Space " Ep. 1 The Landing Part. 02 Flashback

... Jonsey had led a pretty normal life up until now. He was born into a family of six. His four siblings also were pretty average. They all became a master in the family business, carpentering. However, one day had Jonsey a choice. After driving back home after work, he came to a fork in the road. This fork consisted of both a road to his home, or another path that was (to him) an unknown site. Nothing ever provoked his interest enough to even explore this mysterious road, but now, a new sign had caught his attention. It glowed brightly in contrast to the night sky. The sign had a turquoise backround, and in big bright text said: "Fun, High-paying Job offerings now." Jonsey, a naturally rational person, thought about this. He lived in a small apartment that he could barely pay rent for, and had little fun carpentering. He finished thinking and went down the mysterious road in the moonlight...

... However, he did not see the small text written on the sign...

... "WARNING: EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. DO NOT APPLY FOR THIS JOB UNLESS YOU ARE AWARE OF PLAUSIBLE INJURY OR DEATH." ...

" A Way to Space " Ep. 1 The Landing Part. 03 Flashback - continued

...Jonsey tried to remember what happened that night, but found gaps in his memory. He remembered the first day on the job - the next morning. He never remembered taking ANY basic training at all. When he tried to contemplate this, his mind dismissed it and he couldn't even remember what he was thinking. He started out as a flight quality control intern, and quickly rised the promotional ladder. After four years being employed, all of the staff around him changed except two people, Kayla, the Chief secretary and clerk, and Stuvoshkij "Stuwey", the Chief Scientist Supervisor and Manager.

These two mysterious people arrived the same time Jonsey did, and he grew very fond of them both. When Jonsey tried to think of how he stayed in service, he just remembered these things just came to him. How to fly a rocket, aerospace physics, even how to operate the Hyper-Complex Futuristic Coffee Machine. (HC.F.CM)

Alas, he had many questions that were put away in the dark, crevices of his mind, it felt as if he was almost pushing them deeper when tried to comprehend them.

... But that didn't matter. He had a job to do...

"A Way to Space " Ep. 1 The Landing Part. 04 Friend

"Jonsey." "Jonsey." "Jonsey? What are you doing?"

Jonsey shook his head as he came back to reality. He had just went through a two-part exposition of this story. Jonsey then wondered why he thought the words "Two-Part," "Exposition," and "Story."

It was just his friend, Kayla, the Chief Clerk and Secretary.

"What?!?" Jonsey suddenly blurted out rudely. Kayla stopped for a moment, shocked, and all of the costumers stared in front of the registration desk. "Sorry, sorry, I didn't know what came over me." Jonsey added, embarrassed of his actions. Kayla looked relieved for a moment, and, all of the costumers looked away without interest.

"Say, do you want to go out for coffee and a snack?" She asked in a fluid, calm voice. "Yeah, Stuwey can come with us." Jonsey replied. Kayla looked a bit disappointed, but to Jonsey's perspective, he couldn't tell if she just wanted to be alone with him, or disliked Stuwey in particular. You see, Kayla never grew very fond of Stuwey, who to say the least, was very annoying to her. She just wanted to socialize, but with Stuwey, it was facts nonstop.

Jonsey went over Kayla's body movements in his memory, and it seemed she seemed to have started upset when he said the keyword: "Stuwey" which made him infer she was more disturbed about Stuwey in paticular than being alone.

But, All in all, Jonsey got in his old, beat up car, (He had barely spent the fortune he made from his job and thought saving it would be more helpful.) contacted Stuwey, and went down to the nearest StarKerbs...

" A Way to Space " Ep. 1 The Landing Part. 05 The Gang

"I'm just saying we could use a little more improvement." Said Kayla, now completely fine with the fact that Stuwey had joined the party. Everyone around the table laughed. "We cannot replace the HC.F.CM.!" replied Jonsey, "The thing is like a relic, a novelty!" "Also, half of the science budget has been wasted on that piece of ÑÂúрðÿ" Stuwey added with his stiff upper lip. They all took a bite of their pastries. "It's a novelty now? I never thought of it as that." Kayla said sarcastically with her mouth full.

"Anyone seen the new invention at the lab? We made biiiiggg improvements on it. It's almost operational. It's classified but I'll give you a hint! It has to do with a very famous person who disappeared 50 years ago!" Stuwey started, with his accent. Kayla suddenly looked a bit less happy as she realized that Stuwey was starting again.

Jonsey thought. "50 years ago, the most famous person was..." He continued thinking... "Jebidiah Kerman!"

Jonsey submitted his answer. "Is it Jeb?"

"Correct, and since you've already passed Classified level 4, I'm going to tell you what it is!" replied Stuwey. "It's a mechanical brain that serves as an autopliot!"

Kayla and Jonsey looked at each-other, both of them were slightly disgusted, yet, intrigued.

"But, we're having trouble naming it..." Stuwey Gloomily said.

"How about..." Jonsey started... "MechJeb!" Kayla AND Jonsey finished. Their eyes then touched. Both were weird-ed out by this coincidence.

The rest of the night was normal, and Jonsey went home, had a good night's sleep, and woke up again in the morning.
