  1. These should be NPCs. OH MY GOD! They should make an official mod like garry's mod and call it "kerbal space pirates." where you have to build a space pirate ship, and you are already in orbit.
  2. Umm, they are probably going to integrate spaceport. I think it's on their list.
  3. I'd like to see it, but they would have to add a secret thing where if you clicked on a part of the screen, you could make the kerbal walk or fly around. (Or it loads a scenario.)
  4. I still can't figure out if jool is a saturn or jupiter analogue. It doesn't have rings but in the order of planets, it would be saturn.
  5. I'd like to see some performance optimizations. It takes 1 minute for any craft to load on my computer.
  6. Sounds like a good idea, but you have to have the launchpads near the equator.
  7. I though the asteroid belt would be near Dres. But, basically every planet has asteroids around them, like in real life on earth, they just aren't visible through the atmosphere. So I agree that asteroids should be around every celestial body. (But, what differentiates asteroids from moons is the size.)
  8. http://www.ia.ucsb.edu/pa/display.aspx?pkey=2943 This real life system could actually propel a spacecraft to the speed of light.
  9. I was watching the "Pivot" device on the claw in the new ARM patch that they are releasing. I was wondering if they are going to make a stand alone pivot part, without the claw. (You could use it to pivot a docking port or a part of the ship. I think it could also be useful for making homemade missile/pod launchpads, which allow you to launch at an angle.) What does anyone think about this.
  10. Great, now all we need to do is create several house, road, and car models, some which correspond to their biome, and generate cities!
  11. In Kerbal attachment system mod (KAS) they have a "claw" but it just doesn't group the two things into one object. I think you guys think that when they said "like a docking port" it had the literal capabilities of a docking port.
  12. I would like to see a few features added with this as well:: Popularity. When you do more missions without failure kerbals will start to notice you. Museum entrance fee. When money is added into the game, you should be able to get an adjustable amount of money from kerbals entering the museum. (Note that you have to buy the museum first and the income is linked to your popularity.)
  13. However you can't explain why nasa is making a satellite refueler/rebuilder. (They also are servicing completely non-operational satellites.) http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/station/research/experiments/778.html
  14. The difference is in mine, is you have to start from space, and more modules gets more points.
  15. Okay, so here's the challenge: Kerbals, wanting to make a new movie "Gravioli," where one kerbal "Sandra Kerman" desperately tries to escape a large case of kessler syndrome, having to go through various dangerous situations to survive. however, kerbals have no experience whatsoever with CGI and Visual Animation, causing them to create a actual cloud of debris to act the movie. Objectives: (0 = optional) Create a cloud of debris that has at least 20 different entities. (Put command modules on them so they don't delete.) Have two stations. (Can be already constructed ones.) Have at least 1 impact with an station. Travel to both stations. Doesn't have to be "sandra kerman." Spend all of the fuel in the module you use to travel between stations. Kerbal successfully returns to Kerbin. Stations have to be farther than 2km apart Do this as fast as you can. (Don't try to dock with the station when traveling to it.) 0) Leap of faith. Leap and from the module you use to travel and cling to the station. 0) Randomize each debris/not all the same. 0) Sandra Kerman 0) Have another kerbal that doesn't survive. Scoring: If you follow all of the objectives, you get 100 points. Extra scoring: Each extra debris adds 1 point. Each optional objective you complete gets 25 points. If you go above and beyond; 20 points for every aspect you went above and beyond on. 5+ points for every extra kerbal you bring on the mission and successfully land. 20+ points if you create a shuttle and it gets hit by debris. 50+ for every extra large station you construct.
  16. And that's why "gravity" wouldn't be realistic.
  17. I think all of the scrapped planets/moons should be added to another solar system.
