Unmanned before Manned tech

The end. Summary: Kerbals. Aren't. Humans. -
Unmanned before Manned tech

Since kerbals are veggies, they can be cloned. -
Unmanned before Manned tech
Alex_Leonardo replied to Keefus's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
Sadly, in real life, Unmanned DID come before Manned. Look at the Sputnik. Anyways, Yes, Unmanned before manned, but, seemingly as it is, apparently kerbals have a different culture than ours, and have backwards technology. -
More interactive science experiments
Alex_Leonardo replied to vetrox's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
Very good. They have different biomes at the moment, but it would be cool to have these "in-depth" experiments. -
I don't know. It depends on the kerbal's biology and anatomy. I see them most likely related to green potatoes, (Because they are plants and also because they probably have cell walls instead of membranes in the cells they are made of, giving them plant-like characteristics.) Sea horses, (Smooth squishy, bendable, flexible armor-like exterior.) and insects. (Exoskeleton.) Most likely, kerbals don't need air circulation, (potato char.) but need tons of water and/or light, no/some solid foods, but probably don't produce much waste and probably are extremely warm. (energy purge from body)

Colonization
Alex_Leonardo replied to Mechscientist's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
I'd like to see metal mining added along kethane, when they add that. Then you could have a inflatable VAB and turn the metals you mined into parts. Colonization would be taken to a new level once they add kerbals being able to pick up parts and weld them, attachments, cranes, and kerbal integrated fuel lines. So basically, Colonization is the kerbal attachments mod. But, I like the Idea of making parts with mined metal so you don't have to haul them. Like, if your wheel was totally destroyed, you could make another from metal, and have a kerbal attach them. It would add a lot to crashes, if you get what I'm saying, which is that, if you crash a lander with a miner on it and some type of small parts maker, you could rebuild the lander and probably make a new base. Summary: If Kerbal could craft parts and create factories and mine metal and kethane + the kerbal attachments mod (With a few colonization parts or the H.O.M.E. mod.) would basically fulfill my needs for a colonization DLC or something. Sorry for rambling. -
Heat distortion effects.
Alex_Leonardo replied to mcbmaestro's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
Ahh, please, not the graphics, I'm sure the devs will focus on the gameplay first. I would very much like to see heat distortion and burns as a feature, meaning parts can be warped by fires and damaged. No, deadly re-entry mod, real heat warping and damage and burns in the game. -
That's more like a RTS, for example, http://www.uberent.com/pa/ (Planetary Annihilation) mixed with Kerbal. Hopefully, in 5-20 years, we'll have games like that. It would be cool with they made a tycoon game mixed with KSP, so that you earn money by selling cars and other vehicles, you research, an then you can see a city driving your hottest vehicle.

The Landing. (A Way to Space ep.1) [Updated Whenever}
Alex_Leonardo replied to Alex_Leonardo's topic in KSP Fan Works
" A Way to Space " Ep. 1 The Landing Part. 05 The Gang "I'm just saying we could use a little more improvement." Said Kayla, now completely fine with the fact that Stuwey had joined the party. Everyone around the table laughed. "We cannot replace the HC.F.CM.!" replied Jonsey, "The thing is like a relic, a novelty!" "Also, half of the science budget has been wasted on that piece of ÑÂúрðÿ" Stuwey added with his stiff upper lip. They all took a bite of their pastries. "It's a novelty now? I never thought of it as that." Kayla said sarcastically with her mouth full. "Anyone seen the new invention at the lab? We made biiiiggg improvements on it. It's almost operational. It's classified but I'll give you a hint! It has to do with a very famous person who disappeared 50 years ago!" Stuwey started, with his accent. Kayla suddenly looked a bit less happy as she realized that Stuwey was starting again. Jonsey thought. "50 years ago, the most famous person was..." He continued thinking... "Jebidiah Kerman!" Jonsey submitted his answer. "Is it Jeb?" "Correct, and since you've already passed Classified level 4, I'm going to tell you what it is!" replied Stuwey. "It's a mechanical brain that serves as an autopliot!" Kayla and Jonsey looked at each-other, both of them were slightly disgusted, yet, intrigued. "But, we're having trouble naming it..." Stuwey Gloomily said. "How about..." Jonsey started... "MechJeb!" Kayla AND Jonsey finished. Their eyes then touched. Both were weird-ed out by this coincidence. The rest of the night was normal, and Jonsey went home, had a good night's sleep, and woke up again in the morning. -
The Landing. (A Way to Space ep.1) [Updated Whenever}
Alex_Leonardo replied to Alex_Leonardo's topic in KSP Fan Works
"A Way to Space " Ep. 1 The Landing Part. 04 Friend "Jonsey." "Jonsey." "Jonsey? What are you doing?" Jonsey shook his head as he came back to reality. He had just went through a two-part exposition of this story. Jonsey then wondered why he thought the words "Two-Part," "Exposition," and "Story." It was just his friend, Kayla, the Chief Clerk and Secretary. "What?!?" Jonsey suddenly blurted out rudely. Kayla stopped for a moment, shocked, and all of the costumers stared in front of the registration desk. "Sorry, sorry, I didn't know what came over me." Jonsey added, embarrassed of his actions. Kayla looked relieved for a moment, and, all of the costumers looked away without interest. "Say, do you want to go out for coffee and a snack?" She asked in a fluid, calm voice. "Yeah, Stuwey can come with us." Jonsey replied. Kayla looked a bit disappointed, but to Jonsey's perspective, he couldn't tell if she just wanted to be alone with him, or disliked Stuwey in particular. You see, Kayla never grew very fond of Stuwey, who to say the least, was very annoying to her. She just wanted to socialize, but with Stuwey, it was facts nonstop. Jonsey went over Kayla's body movements in his memory, and it seemed she seemed to have started upset when he said the keyword: "Stuwey" which made him infer she was more disturbed about Stuwey in paticular than being alone. But, All in all, Jonsey got in his old, beat up car, (He had barely spent the fortune he made from his job and thought saving it would be more helpful.) contacted Stuwey, and went down to the nearest StarKerbs... -
I forgot! Not again! Boom! Noooooooo!!!

The Landing. (A Way to Space ep.1) [Updated Whenever}
Alex_Leonardo replied to Alex_Leonardo's topic in KSP Fan Works
" A Way to Space " Ep. 1 The Landing Part. 03 Flashback - continued ...Jonsey tried to remember what happened that night, but found gaps in his memory. He remembered the first day on the job - the next morning. He never remembered taking ANY basic training at all. When he tried to contemplate this, his mind dismissed it and he couldn't even remember what he was thinking. He started out as a flight quality control intern, and quickly rised the promotional ladder. After four years being employed, all of the staff around him changed except two people, Kayla, the Chief secretary and clerk, and Stuvoshkij "Stuwey", the Chief Scientist Supervisor and Manager. These two mysterious people arrived the same time Jonsey did, and he grew very fond of them both. When Jonsey tried to think of how he stayed in service, he just remembered these things just came to him. How to fly a rocket, aerospace physics, even how to operate the Hyper-Complex Futuristic Coffee Machine. (HC.F.CM) Alas, he had many questions that were put away in the dark, crevices of his mind, it felt as if he was almost pushing them deeper when tried to comprehend them. ... But that didn't matter. He had a job to do... -
The Landing. (A Way to Space ep.1) [Updated Whenever}
Alex_Leonardo replied to Alex_Leonardo's topic in KSP Fan Works
" A Way to Space " Ep. 1 The Landing Part. 02 Flashback ... Jonsey had led a pretty normal life up until now. He was born into a family of six. His four siblings also were pretty average. They all became a master in the family business, carpentering. However, one day had Jonsey a choice. After driving back home after work, he came to a fork in the road. This fork consisted of both a road to his home, or another path that was (to him) an unknown site. Nothing ever provoked his interest enough to even explore this mysterious road, but now, a new sign had caught his attention. It glowed brightly in contrast to the night sky. The sign had a turquoise backround, and in big bright text said: "Fun, High-paying Job offerings now." Jonsey, a naturally rational person, thought about this. He lived in a small apartment that he could barely pay rent for, and had little fun carpentering. He finished thinking and went down the mysterious road in the moonlight... ... However, he did not see the small text written on the sign... ... "WARNING: EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. DO NOT APPLY FOR THIS JOB UNLESS YOU ARE AWARE OF PLAUSIBLE INJURY OR DEATH." ... -
I know that there is a large amount of people who want to play "legitimately", and don't want to use mods that help them with flights, such as, MechJeb. I argue that MechJeb is way more "legit" than doing everything. I also know you don't get the same sense of accomplishment also. But seriously, docking takes way too long (At least on my computer, even with the set target, and maneuvers.) So I decided to test the legitimacy of this. After a few minutes, I found out that there are already fully automated rockets, I knew for ICBMs they were automated, but not ones that could dock. So I realized, Using MechJeb is way more "legitimate" than actually carrying out every tedious process. I even bet the only reason they have people in the control room is to press "abort" if anything goes wrong. Also, SAS helps, but, you can only go in a straight line.

Author's note: " A Way to space " doesn't mean they haven't gotten to space. In a sense, it means " This is a (Different) Way to get to space (Be an astronaut). " Also, Comments and Ratings welcome. I will take constructive criticism! " A Way to Space " Ep. 1 The Landing Part. 1 Prologue The nine felt their stomachs turn while the spacecraft rotated aimlessly. Suddenly the small ship came to a stop. Jonsey Kerman, a courageous but now woozy Kerbal crawled out of the hatch. Jonsey slumped onto the ground, he then pushed a small silver stake into the ground. The stake extended into a flag. The flag read: Flight #9012 Costumers: Jill, Jonson, Kybi, Slochic, Vuni, Vito, Fusho, Hurby Instructor: Jonsey [Contract Completed!] +50000 Kurbency earned. The eight other Kerbals eventually climbed out, eyes disturbed from the immense light of their sun, Kerbol. The eight (Excluding Jonsey) finally began to comprehend what experiences they had gone through. They then high-fived each other and squealed in excitement. As the group of eight left, Jonsey remained. He said, "We hope you had a good time at Super Spaceâ„¢ Kommercial spacelines. Remember to pick up your promotional mugs and K-Shirts! You can rate your instructor on Kelp."

There are many resonable sizes. 1. They are the size of sackboy and their planet is a very small moon. 2. They are 1/3 the size of humans and their planet is the size of the moon. 3. They are 1/2 the size of humans, and their planet is the size of mars. 4. they are the size of humans, and their planet is the size of earth. 5. They are more than 10x the size of humans, and their planet is the size of earth: explaning why their planet seems so small.

@MRab2 I was thinking about that too. They could have a dry food source. Also, kerbals could just get a mini car engine, and stick the muffler in their mouths. (They're plants right?) Just kidding. Cryogenic states induce the fact that you don't need as much food or water, and you don't need as much oxygen because your heart slows down, and you aren't as using much energy to heat or cool your body. And if you had a Alcubierre drive, it would take even less resources. Because if you were traveling TSOL (The. SPeed of light) every 8 years is 2 years for you.

This isn't really over any foreseeable update. I'm pretty sure this thread could have been reposted hundreds of times since the start of suggestions. Anyways, if we did have separate solar systems, we should have some type of freeze-hibernation mode, which it is put into a super warp mode, that automatically stops when you get to the different system. Even if you were to not implement super-warp, there should be at-least some sights to see, or some lost moons, asteroids, or planets.

KSP on Xbox One?
Alex_Leonardo replied to Anton P. Nym's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
I don't want to have it on Xbox. I think it would end up like Minecraft on Xbox. It sucked, and I wasted my money. It's just the Xbox isn't meant for kerbal, or any other type of design and build games, and It probably never will. Also the xbox controller woud be a bit hard to get used to. But it does have some hope if they make some KSP spinoff like this: KMP (Kerbal Military Program) Because I know at least 95% of Xbox players will be bored with KSP if they play call of duty, or any other violent game like that. If I am being agnostic, please tell me. I'm 50% Sure my data is correct.
