hm, thats really a nice view, and gives a good impression of scale. They seem to push out quite some volume of gas/cycle to move the object at all. Do we know any figures about how many seconds/thrust are availabe?

Think its was the light who made it soo visible, the forward and right burns was catching lots of sunlight. If you looks carefully you see one burn in our direction too and it might be on the the left a couple of times.

Oh hey, some rare Chinese launch footage! Thanks for that, the Long March series has beautiful rockets and we don't get to see nearly enough of them.

That's actually the Chang'e 3 lunar lander launch from last year. It was pretty well covered. There's also a

of its landing burn to the surface of the Moon.

Should not really be that hard, but would require Squad to do it. The effect can't really be particle-based, but instead would have to use some sort of 3D model. Also, those effect look good if they only appear briefly, but during long RCS burns sometimes used both in KSP and IRL, a static effect might not be enough.
