Improvement to clarity in Map View

Does anyone else have trouble finding what you want in map mode when you have multiple flights?

How about a toggle to only show a short segment of the orbit track in the direction of travel. This would remove a lot of the confusion caused by lots of intersecting bright circles. And when the full orbit track is shown have it fade out along its path away from the vessel to give a visual guide to direction of travel.

Also have landed and flying vessels different colours, with ghosting when obscured by the planet or moon.

Any thoughts or other suggestions on this?
