  1. +1 Nav ball color change, not color blind but old. B/W would give better detail.
  2. I think you have to go into the .cfg part file on MJ and change all the tech epochs to "start" it worked for me but that was before .23.5
  3. Real, the kerbin/human reflexes are not fast enough;.; to do the RCS burns but a MJ can as it would in RL. only really fly the ship is when the flight systems fail. but again to each its own.
  4. Don't quote me, but heard on a Twitch esp. forgot which one but it was the one with 11 in it a lot, that the asteroids would be random generated.like spawn every X seconds by Y degrees with Z mass. if true I might just let it (KSP) run for a week or 2.
  5. Beta it has better quality. Still remember when Dad brought it home.
  6. Some things are not meant for console, KSP is one of them. Not only from the CPU and RAM point but also the controls, I remember trying to do these up-down L-R 2 buttons at once to do a fireball, hated it and console controllers break faster then KB/M, my old xbox controller use to make Sam Fisher creep forward when it was on the table. plus what happens when a new console comes out? Having it only available on one console type is always bad, look at GTA 5, still only for console and yet the PC market is screaming for it. If you want to use a console controller I think that by the time 1.0 drops Squad will have different controllers setups, look at all that Logitech gear they just got. And I do flip between orbit view-craft while throttling up.
  7. how about break it up into fuel types. Liq fuel, mono, ion. that way you could go right to the type you need, then break it up by size 1m,3m etc. Even a failed launch yields new data.
  8. the only draw back to hyperedit is you can pop up to 100km but because your not at orbit speed, you will still be affected by gravity ie descent. I test stuff in sandbox before I try it career. also hack gravity but it does not sim Duna Gs higher G more fuel needed so a test area in career mode would be cool.
  9. Agreed this a game, a very fun game and having a choice gives the game even more replay value, but again we are still on .23 the next patch .24 could change everything and 1.0 could be a completely diff beast. the way each of us chooses to play the game differs, I'm trying the ground approach (nothing above 69km)trying to get all kerbin biomes done before I go above 69km. Now is the way I'm playing the "GAME" wrong? "hey noob just use that mod"(unmanned something redoes the tech tree), I did try it and I liked it but I wanted to use stock for My GAME, I do have a modded game save but we're here to test(play) the stock. After 1.0 who knows, SQUAD does but their wanting a stable game and so do I. Even a failed launch yields new data.
  10. Is it not all just MASS? hardware or flesh.
  11. the thing is we do not know what the NASA part of .24 is fully, we've been given hints from the podcast. As for flame wars, my boiling point is 477.2 K. I want data. I put this out there as a question, to inspire talk, to see if it is possible. if it draws some trolls it just means they're afraid of the data. I know this is a game.
  12. Will asteroids blow up if 2 should collide like fuel tanks or fragment into smaller pieces and would those in turn become micrometeorites. I know Squad has said 10m. but come on someone will hack it and make 40m. and will you have to worry about time warping into the path of a 5m asteroid. with the asteroid generator Squad is testing now, how long till the Kerbol system is a regular shooting gallery? Even a failed launch yields new data.
