Odiseus

It was very strange and unexplained . I was sending a probe to jool when i had to quit from the game. To make the things more realistic i switched off the fuel valves of the probe , save and quit. When i reloaded kerbal and the career, i had to make a course correction, and in the moment to switch on the fuel valves again, the whole spacecraft blow up in pieces in a huge explosion, and a big cloud of debris .

A rescue mission in the Mun north pole. I've had landed in the north pole , but the spacecraft tilted to one side and flip to the ground, making the take off impossible. I had to sent another lander with a extra place for the stranded kerbal, and land within a reasonable range. Finally i managed to put the spacecraft within a 1 km from the first kerbal, and after a while of walking , reach the rescue spacecraft and return safely to Kerbin.

Ion engines would need custom warp times and a specific Navigation tool that hold the correct pitch and roll during very long burns.

One of my probes was destroyed by a deep space kraken, but perhaps it was an spacecraft failure. The probe was in deep space so i decided to shut down the main engine to avoid firing it by mistake ( Right click and shutdown) but when a reloaded the game and before i had time to do nothing the probe exploded in pieces, a complete mission loss.

I unlocked the final part of the tech tree using probes. Dune, Eve and Jool My kerbal are still only in mun and Minmus. The main advantage ia that using a small rocket you can collect science fron distant panets withouth the need to sample return using a manned spacecraft and a heavy rocket.

i´ve just finished the career mode and i kerbals never leave the Kerbin system, only manned missions to mun and minmus, but my probes arrived to Duna , Eve and jool. I had to send a rescue mission in the nord pole of mun and Kerbals are now a bit afraid to leave low kerbin orbit. Was a very hard experience survive in such lonely place several months .

Hello I was a big fan of space simulations and astronomy I discovered it some months ago and after 0.23 version I'm totally addicted to KSP . As a old user of orbiter i can say that Kerbal is amazing and i can have now the things that i missed in orbiter, for example collision detection ,possibility of build rockets and do a real space program and I can't stop playing it . i reached mun and minmus with manned missions , and sent two unmanned probes to Duna and Eve. Now i´m with the first orbit laboratory and the next goals are a space station and manned missions to the outher planets. It´s very nice to stay here. thanks
