  1. Let me add a caveat to the above discussion. Long pipes can result in exploding ships. I had a 100m long pipe on the surface of Minmus and ships would regularly commit suicide when the pipe was connected. I presume this is something to do with the pipe going outside the frame of reference of the loaded ship. Shorter pipe = success.
  2. Can I propose a change to the documentation ? Rather than saying this: "This plugin requires ModuleManager to automatically add the pump to existing tanks. Get ModuleManager here. Otherwise, you can manually add it to tanks by adding the appropriate MODULE section to the config." Can it say this: "This plugin requires ModuleManager to work automatically on new and existing tanks. Get ModuleManager here. Otherwise, you can manually add it to tanks by adding the appropriate MODULE section to the config." I tried loading the module without ModuleManager (thinking it was only required for EXISTING tanks) and couldn't get see the menus until I added MM.
  3. Great ! Once I stopped hunting for a part, I saw the icon when I launched. Maybe when I've got the hang of it, I'll help update the docs. I get that people building these mods give their free time to do so and don't always have the time to keep things straight.
  4. That's an impressively pretty terse response. I must have misunderstood the documentation. On the "How to use" page of the Spaceport download page, it clearly says "Add the part to your vessel. ". How do I use this, then ?
  5. Hi. I'd love to use this mod, but it doesn't appear to work. I installed it in a vanilla copy of KSP 0.23. I presume the mod shows up as a part I need to add to my craft, but I don't see it anywhere. I've been thru the parts menus a dozen time. When I hit ALT-F2, I don't see any errors in the log. I even see the dll getting loaded in the log, but no part and no errors. What can I do ? TIA !
  6. Hi. Awesome mod. Great to see how it's become an essential part of KSP ! I've been using pipes to construct a Minmus refuelling base, but I'm wondering if winches are better, given that they seem to have a longer range. I guess my question is this: Is there anything you can do with a pipe that you can't do with a winch ? Secondly, I would love it if once I connected my pipe from my Kethane miner to my spacecraft fuel tank it would start filling the tank on the spacecraft automagically, rather than needing me to do the ALT-Right click shuffle. Even better would be a landing pad that automatically connected on landing ! Anyway, thanks for the fabulous work !
