  1. You can have symmetry to an extent, like if you try to put wing or RCS on the center frame, not a panel connected to the frame, it works. Also I recommend editor extensions I could have never made my ship without it
  2. i tried once but for some reason cause instability with another mod showing NAN for some resources
  3. specifically the mfd, the one that doesnt have a window, it pretty much makes this mod unusable, i hope the dev removes it or offers and option without it as it would save a lot of ram to remove mfd and RasterPropMonitor, and dont use any cameras
  4. how many of the MFD displays did you use, this design has none
  5. you should see the outpost single launch space station i made, with full life support
  6. the latest version the Interplanatary explorer version, added two more thermorockets to the rear beacuase of there low thrust, the cargo bays have been turned down the left side turned into a small kethane enxtraction and refiniery bay, the other has a small rover on a winch, while the passenger space is down to 9 for reducing parts and made some tweaks for balance First trip to eve i've ever done, i was able to slowly glide in with very little throttle until i was at about 800 then pulled up and hit the vtol engines to kill my speed and slowly set it down as gentle as i could, it cant vtol on eve on just the three downward engines unless you up the thrust of the front engine so it slowly tips back then fire the main engines to take off, much eaiser than it sounds with the action groups a nice day at the eve beach, unloading the buggy, and the other side with the kethane setup the rest https://imgur.com/a/0OnFY

I don't get any flickering using the active texture management and run this with about 15 other mods after reducing the refresh rate of the example mdf EDIT* just checked there are 44 mod folders under my gamedata folder including this mod on a 64 bit linux version, it uses 1.6 ram when loaded, Including nova punch, b9, infernal robotics, and Interstellar, I use the reduction packs for all of them

  11. also why when i build a vehicle if i place docking port with another in the vab or shp will it not undock but if i have two seperate vehicles with port they can dock and undock, also when placing two together on one ship it has 3 option to undock none of wich work.
  12. My recent project with vtol this is my first working one, I've been trying to make one since the first hollow structure mod. btw is there any possibility of bringing back the walls that contain fuel only for the new series?
  13. still tweaking it, but it's about my 50th attempt at a large vtol ssto with the hollow structure mod and can take 10 tons (2x 5ton cargo bays) and 10 kerbals, still don't know how far but tested a vtol landing on minimus and was pretty easy, it can vtol and and get orbit on kerbin as well. it uses, hollow structures & hulls procedual wings procedural parts (for the pure liquidFuel tanks) Insterstellar Reaper Heavy Transport pay no attention to hyperEdit, haha i wanted to test the vtol landing and was in a hurry to get it there the rest of the walk around on the inside http://imgur.com/a/yOdjb down the center hull is a 3.75 nuculear reactor and two generators from Interstellar and the two smaller hulls have the tanks , the engines are the delta vista engines which have the unfortunate habbit of killing kerbals in nearby ships so there are also the smaller thermorocket engines with two small reactors. has 8 chairs for passengers and 2 copilot cabs

  15. don't know if I'm allowed to post this but it was my quick fix for the Interstellar LqdWater to water problem https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/11863219/part.cfg replace the part.cfg in the Interstellar Refinery with this one, it does require you to have the kethane plugin as i just added a kethaneConverter module to the config

  17. My first post but far from my first ship, i wanted to share my latest and incredibly complex build, the Prometheus IV. This thing is a massively oversized ship that should be capable of unlimited interstellar flight providing the the vtol landing on any given moon test works. it has an array of nuclear engines for space flight and 6 linear areospike vtol engines. On to the pics outside with bob and his ne ship EVA from cockpit front vtol engine bay exploration pod capable of landing and orbit on kerbin so should be good on just about all others center of the ship, showing kethane drill and converters for use when vtol landing on a moon for refuel rover attached to winch hanging in the center of the ship top floor behind the cockpit showing some of the fuel tanks (orange part of the walls) I'll be uploading the craft file once i have all the robotics sorted out (there are alot) and i write up a user manual, also I'll be making a zip containing the parts used as there are a lot of parts packs used but only a little from each and no sense to slow down your computer. WARNING this craft is large (430 parts) and may slow your game down. What do you guys think?
