  1. Highlad is not submitting. He has 24 hours before the file will be passed on!
  2. I forgot that the altitude is no longer shown in the first post's images. I will have to fix that tomorrow. (it's 11:00 where I am)
  3. This is a question that I thought would be more common, but as I looked around the forums turns out to not be true. Kerbal space program is a great game as is, but many players install addons to improve their overall experience with it by making the game easier, harder or just adding certain elements to it. I personally enjoy vanilla, and have never really gotten into adding mods to my game. I may have 1 or 2 addons (one of them may or may not be a TARDIS mod...) but I never use them. My question to you guys is: Do use mods? or do you enjoy playing vanilla? If you use mods, what mods do you use and why?
  4. I believe Dakota did log his module, but the images didn't show. I will contact him about that. Thanks, nonetheless, ZodiaK!
  5. We already have 2 escape pods, but if you want to be part of the project I can put you on the list of users participating. You will need to build and dock your module to the station when it is your turn to contribute. All the information is on the first post!
  6. As long as they share the same purpose and don't take up too many docking ports, go ahead!
  7. My younger cousin told me about it and showed me him doing a mission to the Mun a few times. (every time was unsuccessful) He eventually got it while I wasn't watching...
  8. ZODIAK'S MODULE Thanks to ZodiaK for his cargo/power generator which he named ZICK (ZodiaK Industries Cargo/Kilowatts). Now our Kerbals will have plenty of power to run the station and enough space to hold all of their important belongings! (such as snacks...)
  9. NECROBONES' MODULE Thanks, NecroBones for adding a couple of lifeboats and a 6-way docking port. Now our Kerbals have a way to escape from any danger that heads towards our station, and we have more ports for more modules!
  10. Wow, something probably went wrong...(oopsie) I recently received a signal from my high orbit space station...must be important! http://is.gd/HVvnx1
  11. I never return Kerbals from planets and moons. On every mission I have ever done where a Kerbal actually survives on a planet or moon, the kerbal gets stranded. One I managed to save many weeks after landing, and another one is trapped on Duna. I occasionally steal other peoples rocket designs. I never take any credit, but it just doesn't feel as good as creating your own ship. I spend more time playing KSP than I do with important things (homework, etc...)
  12. The station is complete for now! I have put the save file down below for anybody to download. If you wish to share any extra additions you may place the download link in a post on this thread. Thank you to all the participants who contributed in the KSPFSS! Hey guys! If you have been around YouTube, you have probably heard of the International YouTube Space Station (The IYSS) started back in early 2013 ( ). That project involved selected Youtubers working together to build one big space station. What I want to do is create a project similar, but with you guys. I want the entire community to work together to build a space station! How this is going to work: Make a post below saying you want to add a module to the station. You will receive a PM containing the save file. (I will try to send it as soon as I can!) Build and dock your module to the station. Take some screenshots. Save the game and exit. PM the save file back to me so I can hand it over to the next person. (compress it into a zip file!) Log your module below. (Include screenshots and an explanation of what your module is and what it does!) There will be rules, but they will be pretty much the same as the rules the IYSS project was given. RULES USE VANILLA PARTS ONLY! No more than 50 parts! (We don't want too much lag) You may not rearrange, remove or alter any modules that aren't yours. You may not create an already existing module! Be fair! Only one module per turn! When the save file is sent to you, you must have the it sent back to me within 96 hours (4 days) or it will be handed off to somebody else. Your segment has to have a use! There must be at least 1 docking port on your module. Name your module after your KSP forums username. (So I can log it later) Your docking ports must be standard size! (No Clamp-O-Tron Sr. or Jr.) You may not change or mess with any of the save's properties files (Don't go into the save file) Do not use extra large parts! (Such as the Kerbodyne S3-14400 Tank) We want enough room for everybody's module! THE STATION Images taken by: CalculusWarrior ANY QUESTIONS CAN BE ASKED BELOW! USERS CURRENTLY TAKING PART: NecroBones - Module complete! -Added escape pods and a 6 way docking port. ZodiaK - Module complete! -Added a storage pod. (ZodiaK Industries Cargo/Kilowatts) R0cketC0der - Module complete! -Added fuel tank with mun lander. DakotaSikat - Module complete! -Added defence system. bobcook - Module complete! -Added residency module. regex - Module complete! -Added communications shack Highlad - Module complete! -Added solar 'slab' CalculusWarrior - Module complete! -Added observation module. Here is the save file to the KSPFSS!
  13. Jeb was able to knock it into deep space before it hit!
  14. Granted, the food runs away faster than you can. I wish I worked at Kerbal Space Center.
  15. Personally I enjoy Danny's videos, but it kind of worries me that everybody will be moving towards his style of editing. I mean, he does it best as he was the first to do it with KSP, and nothing beats a good old let's play!
  16. since real food carried up into space is not formally called "snacks" I believe it being used in KSP is kind of poking fun at the KSC's well known "professionalism". I was explaining why I think the use of the word "snacks" is in the hitchhiker storage container... Not too exciting :|
  17. Interesting analogy, I was just going to say that since real food carried up into space is not formally called "snacks" I believe it being used in KSP is kind of poking fun at the KSC's well known "professionalism" as "snacks" is not really a professional or formal way to say food. But I'm just going to go with yours, because it's awesome. You really thought that through...
  18. I was going to agree with you, Son of Hicks, but I then realized that it was not that useful on a Kerbin Space Station, and that it needed to be brought back to give the most science (oopsie)... One question though, is it possible to retrieve the two Kerbals from it?
  19. Hello! I have been playing KSP since the December of 2013, and I consider myself a noob as I have only successfully landed on the Mun three times (only one came back to Kerbin), and have accidentally (successfully) landed on Duna once (Bob is stranded). I made an account on the forums in February but had never really explored them. In the past few days I have been constantly on the forums posting daily. =D I do have one question: The forums say I only have 2 posts but I have clearly made more than 5. What is going on? UPDATE: I figured it out!
  20. Banned for not having a period at the end of a sentence.
