Ya I do think that you should build the moon base and also the Mars mission. -

Ya I've seen pictures-von Braun was very creative just to say the least. -

I know what you mean since you said that you wanted to play through the moon landings. Just an idea. I would consider using Nova after this though due to its extreme lifting capabilites. -
[WIP] US Probes - Old and New - Dev Thread
Konstantine the Great replied to raidernick's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
I tried checking before I suggested this, and I couldn't find anything but sorry if someone already has. You should consider making the Viking probes once you have finished all of the existing spacecraft. I think it would be neat to mount them on a FASA Titan 3E in RSS to Mars. -
^^^^^^^^ lol

Historicish NASA play throw

From what I understand, Nova was to be used with the Direct Lunar Landing, or two Saturn IB's for Earth Orbit Rendezvous, or the Saturn C-8(later renamed Saturn V, the one we witnessed built) for Lunar Orbit Rendezvous. I think it would actually be kind of cool if you tried some of these different proposals. -

Yes. If I remember correctly, (you may want to look this stuff up because I haven't read about it in a while), but there were some different planned variants of it, and the ultimate goal was I think a round trip to Mars. One variant was even said to be able to lift up to 1,000,000 lbs into LEO. Look it up though-you will find diagrams and stuff about the different plans. I also remember reading about some sort of an Earth-Moon nuclear shuttle -

You can probably use Nova from FASA. -
So this isn't something that aggravated me, but last night I was loading up KSP 0.25 with RSS, Ro, etc., and in the title screen there was this weird glitch that I though I would mention. Take a look for yourself at the images. By the way, this was my first time loading this up with ATM. http://imgur.com/a/fThpJ

Does this thing have an abort system? I know that that is kind of a stupid question but I couldn't seem to see it from the images. -

Nice video. You did a good job. -
Gemini in RSS
Konstantine the Great replied to Konstantine the Great's topic in KSP1 Mission Reports
Ya I agree with you guys. That was my first time docking in RSS so I wanted to do it a couple of times before I do an apollo mission. -
So I have been playing around with RSS, RO and especially FASA. I decided to try my first orbital rendezvous in RSS using the Gemini Spacecraft and the Agena Target Vehicle. Overall, I was pretty successful, but I had to use most of the fuel in the Gemini service module adjusting my orbit because I messed up the Titan-II launch. I'm still trying to figure out the optimal ascent profile to use with it. Here's some pictures: http://imgur.com/a/tqQBo

KSP 0.90 'Beta Than Ever' Grand Discussion Thread!
Konstantine the Great replied to KasperVld's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Finished downloading in less than thirty minutes. Nice going SQUAD! Now I'm debating whether to play or to study for finals. -
The FASA launch towers can be used to fuel up and also to hold kerbals before going over the crew access arm.

Abort staging
Konstantine the Great replied to drewscriver's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
Ya I would really like to se maybe even a mod that you can set the flight path to and if the rocket deviates too much it will automatically abort or if and engine explodes per say. I agree, manual control seems like it is a bit too excessive but then again everyone does have their own opinions so I think that is why SQUAD made the game the way it is. -
Welcome! Good luck with the Interstellar Docking.

Just FYI I have been following some of your threads and I think that you are extremely talented. Your work is outstanding. I guess I will have to redo my youtube video now http://youtu.be/UoNp6awB9S0 -
