My succesful skycrane on the mun:

Here are the results of my benchmark using the new rocket in .23. At the moment I'm using a Core 2 Quad Q9550. I've run into this problem as well. Hopefully a fix is in the works (that is, if it even is fixable). The way it is now makes it insanely difficult to land a skycrane-based design.
