Docking struts also work, and are not quite as Sci-Fi. You do have to go and click on each of them to set the link. But they look just like normal struts. Also KAS has a strut system that you construct doing EVAs, haven't tried it yet. Verify you have the chutes in the right place. They work for me just fine.

But that is what I mean porkjet, If you made the exact same hab with just flat plates at the end of the inflatable section. the end caps could be a sepearate piece that that we could use, or we could build our own end caps. -

Been looking for an inflatable Hab module for a long time. Love it. Got it up on my station without much trouble see the pictures below. 2 suggestions. 1. Make the end caps surface attachable, for RCS, batteries, solar cells, etc... 2. Make a version without the end caps. Then people could build to match thier own style. -

SpaceX is attempting to get into the "Pumping them out like cars" mode of building rockets. They are doing series production of their rockets and engines. They have even stated they would sell engines if someone was interesting in buying them. -

In my testing with a rocket like your\'s Volt, I think I know what is going on. The decouplers are applying a force at the center of the attachment point. with that second tank above the first that moves the CG of the detached tack above the force applied by the decoubler. this causes it to rotate into the rocket, instead of away. attach the top tank to a decoupler and it rotates the other way from the rocket, and can bang the engines together -
While not as large as gabyalufix massive undertaking. here is my semi realistic huge mun base and lander system. Full size 3m tank as a Mun base. Unfortnatly something went wrong when the lander/return stage landed again on the mun, and all 3 kerbals were permantly stuck on the Mun. Good news is they had a HUGE 3m tank to use as a shelter, and a rescue mission is on the way!

As promised new and improved super heavy lift rocket with 3m Mun base lander, and lander/return vehicle. Unfortnatly something went wrong when the lander/return stage landed again on the mun, and all 3 kerbals were permantly stuck on the Mun. Good news is they had a HUGE 3m tank to use as a shelter, and a rescue mission is on the way! I will post the craft file, and required mods up later tonight. Dinner time! -

Tomarrow I will post a picture of my new monster launcher. Dont have it here at work. 7 long 3m tanks with 6 LT-30 and 1 LTV45 each! Have to time the sway of the rocket so that it doesnt impact the tower on launch. -

Actually it wont load anymore because of .13. the landing struts are from the assorted harware thread. I am working on a new launcher that uses 7 3m tanks with 42 regular engines and 7 gimbaled main engines.

Love this Mod. Used this and Novapunch to place a huge lander on the Mun. Look what I built, I was bale to place an empty 3m fuel tank, with 3/4 of the fuel left in the strap on engines, on the MUN and return my Kerbals to Kearth. This is the old version. Working on a new mega lander that is even bigger. And a second lander ontop to detach and beside the mega lander. Well my superheavy lander can make it to the moon again! Thanks for the heavy struts they fixed the issues I was having. Now I am working on a 7 3m tank first stage, where there are 6 3m tanks as strapons with 7 engines each. 42 x LV-T30 7 x LV-T45 (for guidance) When the 6 strapons are done burning the main tank still has a full load of fuel because of the new Fuel line part!! -

havent had a chance to get the craft file posted yet. But I am pretty certain the issue is the struts, and the changes made to them. They are super weak compared to what they used to be. -

Well, .13 is out. And I am unable to rebuild my large rocket without it blowing up on the pad. Bounces all over the place. have to use 3x as many struts just to keep it standing up -

forgot about those. they are really only good for small landers using the small 1m engines. The gear I used are big for big landers, with big engines -
