  1. I am home now....it is set correctly still no connection at the pad.....update. I reloaded RO from CKAN and not it works!!
  2. Yea not sure. Is there a special RT config file for RO/RSS?
  3. I am sitting on the canaveral launchpad with no connection cannot launch dispite antenna and power.
  4. Can someone help me? I installed RO using CKAN with rss and rt when i try to launch a remote probe there is no connection. I used ro for many years so i know the basic requirement need to attach the automatic diapole antenna have power and a probe core ect. I took a 9month break and now am back. Ive been searching for a rt config file for RT with RO but the links are dead. Any ideas? thanks gene
  5. What is really the issue is that I just installed RO with CKAN and all dependencies and I cannot get a connection. I have used RO for many years just took a 6 month break and after installations with the latest version I am having this issue just looking for a RT config file

  8. Been searching the thread but cannot find a solution to my issue. SRBs TWR are not displaying correctly. (example) I build a rocket with SRBs (Castor 4AXL) and I get a TWR of 1.51. One I launch the TWR drops to .99. It is not just for these SRBs but all the KW ones I tested. Procedural SRBs are not affected. I can build them and what I build is what I get. Is there a work around or is it something I am doing wrong. running .24.2 with updated mods associated with RO. Appreciate your advice.
  9. I am having an issue with TWR. Prior to launch I have a TWR of 1.50 ish. Once I launch TWR drops to below 1 and launch fails. It appears to occur only with your vessels which have SRBs on them anything with liquid fuel reads correct. I just installed .24 and associated mods for RO/RSS. Is there any tricks to get the TWR right? Your vehicles look amazing and I cannot wait to use them but now I cannot figure out this issue. Thanks for your hard work.

  11. Loading screen gets hung up on Realismoverhaul/parts/stock_resizes/parachute/parachuteLarge-rss. any suggestions? Was working under RO 5.7

  13. I am trying to establish a Space Station for further launches to the moon and planets. However, all my launches result in differing inclinations. Since I am launching at the Cape and not at the equator how should I launch to ensure all my craft end up I am in the same plane as the moon and planets?
  14. I am having some issues with real engines I think. When I stage, engines in higher stages light as well. Not all the time but with certian engine combos. Also some of me engines overheat real quick and explode. Any suggestions? thanks
  15. I just get a black screen and crash when trying to force DX11. Are you doing something different? I get alot of Access Violation 0xc0000005 crashes with opengl.
  16. Started with clean install. loaded mods 1 at a time. Intersteller worked, Novapunch worked, RT2 worked, TAC life support worked, Robotics worked, mechjeb and engineer worked, B9 does not work (many crashes) same with KW and ferram. I will bypass them for now and continue loading mods.
  17. I am having a problem finding the path to "Editor\Data\PlaybackEngines\windows64standaloneplayer" all i can find is "editor\data\playback engine\windowsstandalonesupport" not sure if i am doing it right
  18. Anyone thinking of a MOD where users start with a certain level of Ker-Bills for building craft and modules for the use of mining and returning resources to kerbin. Those resources can then be sold on the market for funds to purchase items for follow on missions. This will add a great deal of difficulty and creative thinking of how best to efficiently build spacecraft and an efficient way to gather and deliver resources to market.
  19. I am really looking forward to contracts. I for one play sandbox. So for me the challenge is not having the technology but how best to use it (Economical and feasibility constraints). In the real world we have a lot of technology available use but we just cannot use it on a whim. The big constraint for NASA and other organizations is funding/money. We must build our systems and use our resources with this in mind. That for me is the real challenge. Sure I could place 10 boosters on a rocket but it would be more economical if I used my brain and designed a more efficient model for the contract or else my space agency will be bankrupt.
