Purple textures indicate a problem with your graphics card or it's driver. You should check them. -

[WIP] Dangerously Shaded Stock Refresh
*Aqua* replied to DangerouslyDave's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
Afaik they want to use the standard shader and abandon the old KSP shaders. Nice work! I like it! Did you make a tank too? I would like to see it combined with this engine.- 90 replies

You mean radial (to the center of the body you orbit) and anti-radial (the opposite way). Nothing would happen. The pushes of both engines would cancel out each other.

Hello everyone! The Paradox Game Studios make all past versions of their games available through Steam. Have a look: Squad can do that too! And for the player who bought the game on the KSP store you also can make the old versions available there too. I don't think it's hard to do or requires a lot of time to set up.

An idea: hitting an asteroid...with an asteroid
*Aqua* replied to 55delta's topic in Science & Spaceflight
You don't need that much processing power, maybe a few days to come up with several trajectories and evaluate them. You'll need much, much more time to accurately measure the asteroid's orbit. -
Every definition is arbitrary. For example: Why using Pi instead of Tau? Why using meter instead of inch? etc. The answer is: because someone said so. This is a play on words. It doesn't matter if you have two categories named 'planets' & 'dwarf planets' or 'major planets' & 'minor planets'. Dwarf planets are the next smaller kind of celestials after planets.

Who's going to name all of them? That's not possible. We name things that are in one way or another important enough to have a name. Nobody cares about a small asteroid (if it isn't on a collision course with Earth). A planet on the other hand controls its area of the solar system. And because there are only 8 of that kind they are important. If there were thousands of them we would put them into classes of 'more important ones' and 'less important ones'. The former will get names, the later ones not. It always works that way.

An idea: hitting an asteroid...with an asteroid
*Aqua* replied to 55delta's topic in Science & Spaceflight
Are asteroids hard enough for pool billiard? I think the 'defender asteroid' (the one you shoot from Earth) will only blow a piece of the 'attacker asteroid' away or maybe it'll shatter into numberous smaller pieces which are still on their collision course with Earth. -
I want to build a ground base on a mountain. The area is sloped. When setting up a pylon etc. is there a way to orient it at exact 90° vertical? Or exact horizontal?

Restart your laptop in safe mode and then try to uninstall Steam again or simply delete the folder. Then reboot to normal mode and install Steam. If you still can't delete the files, try one of the numberous process killer programs from the interwebs. Also make sure Steam isn't autostarted on boot.

My mistake. "Hormones"! ^^
-
YouTube comments are worse. I think most people here are grown-ups and settled down. They have no need to boost or be hostile because of hormons and that's why it's peaceful here.

@Vanguard-Warden How did you attach the rover? I don't see a docking port and unfortunately you don't show a pic of the area where rover is attached. -
The Romans had a lot of gods and deities. There should be a few left we didn't use to name a planet. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Roman_deities I like Minerva. Makes me think of a beautiful woman.

Something similiar to this would be nice <3 SE has the same problem as KSP: The audio is not that good. -
Did you watch the YouTube video in the post I linked? There's a guy showing how to use CKAN and how to manually install a mod.
-
First line of the first post brings you to the download page. It's not that hard to find.
-
Or running copies of KSP outside of Steam when developing mods I guess total playtime sums up to about 1100 hours.
-
1001 hours playtime 1039 days since I bought it ----------------------------- ~1 hour playtime per day Am I addicted or what? ^^ KSP 0.19.1 was the latest version back then. \o/ Those were times. ^^

[Plugin/Parts] Kerbal Foundries - Continuation [Latest: 1.9g]
*Aqua* replied to Gaalidas's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
@Gaalidas Which repo will we use? Your's or lofi's? Edit Could you just commit your changes? They don't have to be finished. I just want to have a look at the current state of the mod. -

But inside of or very near the plane you don't hear that. -
You can try an autopilot mod like MechJeb or Pilot Assist or program you rocket to do something with kOS. That's what some YouTubers do.

No. Video capture software usually only reads the output buffer of your graphics card. The image in there has already the HUD painted onto it.
