It may have been mentioned but this is a more advanced idea of what the scanSAT mod does - it allows you to build maps of the terrain, and as you advance through the tech tree you can get more advanced imaging systems for more accurate maps with the ground altitude etc. I think limiting what you see in the KSC until you do a flyby is a very good idea and adds to the exploration feel of the game
  2. So i've seen how the new difficulty system can change monetary gains etc, and its great. But i was thinking it could be pushed further: For example, Launching one probe to the moon wont make a space agency famous. Not launching anything will cause them to disappear into the history books. So, perhaps making it more difficult to gain rep at first? Maybe if you don't launch any missions for a while your reputation drops? (no more focusing for 5 years on one mission. want to meet that transfer window? Plan accordingly) Also, when you launch a mission it can be dedicated to one or many contracts, and some contracts cannot be completed without first declaring that a mission is for that contract. If the mission fails the first time, so do the rewards if you complete it next try. What do others think?
  3. I've gone through it with a fine tooth comb - a DLL (not IR) was causing a conflict with snacks and TAC DLL. I'm red in colour but can also be green, I'm used in drinks but cannot be seen, I can be sharp but also sweet, I change colour if added to heat. The DLL has been removed and its all good - thanks. Oh, and keep up the good work with the mods!
  4. hmm, a time restraint on research - this in specific is something I wanted to try to do and couldn't figure out how for ages - i'm so happy someone managed to do this, bravo sir. I think this completes my hardcore KSP folder now

Edit: sadly no difference so Ill just stick to making cranes for now. But even still, definitely one of the best mods going
  6. I'm also crashing when going back to the hanger when using gantrys Which is my other issue - I'm having what I belive was the base creep? When moving the gantry one of the "legs" (the one last connected to that gantry) will move with it. This occurs with both rails at all orientation, both in the VAB, SPH, and in flight. If it helps all of the nodes moving seems to be the issue
