  1. Has there been any update to the drag model? Are there any new updates? I'm just now getting back into KSP - I haven't played for maybe a year now.
  2. In relation to my first question, do black holes have a gravitational force outside of the event horizon? I've heard that both once you hit the event horizon, there's no going back as well as you can escape the event horizon depending on how close you are to the actual black hole.
  3. I actually heard about that a while ago, heard it was a good read. I love sci-fi stuff, but I prefer relatively near future stuff. Hyper-warp drives and FTL just isn't fun to imagine!
  4. The Minecraft community, isn't bad for the most part. You just see the obnoxious 9 year-olds more than anything else because they're showcased. However, I think if Microsoft acquires Minecraft, Minecraft is going down the pooper. Not like it already is.
  5. Hello, everyone. I had a question about black holes, but this is also a thread for other people's thoughts about black holes. I was wondering, could a spacecraft use black holes as a catapult sort of propulsion? For example, it's well known that modern-era spacecraft will use temporarily orbit a planet, hit the periapsis of the orbit, then burn their way out of orbit, with the extra speed given from hitting the periapsis. My question, again, is, could a spacecraft do this some type of manuever with a black hole? And where would they go about it? On the edge of the black hole's event horizon?
  6. Really cool idea, I'm working on an entry now. I'll edit in my entry soon. EDIT - Not really an entry, as I didn't use entirely stock parts. Just thought I'd see how far I could get. I ended up making a decent distance!
  7. I mean, I did build a flying tank, but it flies okay. Most of the time.
  8. That moment when you time warp really fast to hurry up and get to the Mun, and you hold it a second too long, and by the time has slowed down, Jebediah's funeral is just finishing.
  9. There was one time I was in quite a pinch! I had TAC Life Support installed, and my kerbal had maybe an hour left, before he died. (Note, this was all on the Mun). What I ended up doing was turning my lander on it's side, activating the engine, and shooting my Jebediah into orbit, and hopped in a Mun space station with a couple minutes of life left. It was nerve-racking, but also incredibly fun to do.
  10. Heyo, I'm not very avid with FAR, but I downloaded it for .22, and it had a flight computer which could connect to Mission Control or a kerbal-made comm-satellite array. I did not find that in 23.5. Was it removed or have I done something wrong?
