  1. Not new, but it's been 8 or so years since I last posted. I'm Mike, I go by Rooster78 on most places. Love space and everything about it. I'm a stay at home disabled dad.
  2. It would help a lot if a deta~v calculator was added to the base game, allowing people with weaker math skills enjoy the game better without constantly having to put the controllor down. I own both a PC and Xbox copy, I'll tell you, it makes the Xbox copy almost unenjoyable. One feature, if I could ask for any one of them, would be to add a delta~v readout in the building complexes please.
  3. I have about 5 or 6 hundred hours in the game, only 150 on Steam, but I originally got the game from the website before Steam key were offered. I am currently in Onyx, CA, which is north of L.A. near Bakersfield. (about 4 hours)
  4. Yeah, but my daughter broke my PC, so I'm stuck with my Xbox One till taxes next year.
  5. Is there a sign up to be involved in the beta testing of the Xbox version. I have been playing KSP since .18 on the PC, and love the game deeply with a good understanding of the game mechanics.

  8. I have been floating around here since .18. I figured it was time to come and say hi. I have had a many or hours of fun with this program. IMHO this is the best game ever. I am constantly learning something new, sometimes by complete accident. But anyways, thanks for having me.

  10. I just found a young man learning to play on steam chat. I plan on sharing this thread with him when he gets back on. I would also like to see you new videos. I'm not a noob, I have made manned landings on Ike and Duna, I just haven't gotten much other than that done. I'm working on a refueling station, and docking kills me, as I overshoot three or four times before I finally get it.
  11. Is it in earth or Kerbal time, and thanks for the link, will check it out when I get home, my windows phone doesn't like the drop down menu on the site for the planets.
  12. Does this library have info on mods? Or is it just mostly stock? I have a small problem, I have been trying to figure out travel times between the planets since I use life support mods. I understand that times depend on launch windows, but if I had an idea of what the times are with with optimal launch window, that should give me a mean time to use as a rule of thumb. Thank you for any help.

  14. I could add 100 mods no problem, but if I put KAS is Universal Attachment System in the game crashed at start up. The recently updated Universal Attachment and the is a work around for KAS I it's forum near the end. Now I have no problems at all
  15. I was wondering about cytogenetic pods too, the biggest problems with long missions is that the astronauts would die during the mission. I have a maneuver node that is 66 years out there, and that's not even half way there. I mean they are green like Yoda, but do they really have longer life spans then he does.

  18. Thanks for the reply, I will keep this in mind when I go on my manned mission in a few hours from now. So 2 days there, 2 days back, 2 days orbit EVAs, and 2 days Mun biome jumping, 8 days total, add 2 more day for good measure, 10 days of supplies is more then enough. So the 10 L of each is plenty?
  19. This helps some what, thanks. Now is it what, 1 liter of support per day or am I wrong. If that is the case that would mean that a container with 10 liters of each food, water, and Oxygen would last 10 days? Thanks for the quick response.

I didn't mean to offend or discredit anyone's work, I have watched many of the videos multiple times, but by adding money to the mix, that 100,000 fund ship does me no good trying to get to the Mun when I'm looking at a 50,000 fund budget. I have used the videos well in past versions and I love them all, would never think about getting rid of any of them either. I was only asking about some newer videos that showed more of the changes from .18. I was gone from the game a few months after .18 cause my daughter broke my laptop (she tried to give it a drink of milk cause i guess she thought it was thirsty), and now that it's .24.2, i have found that I had to relearn a lot of the from science and a budget that limits what I can do from the get go. Thank you for offering to find some add content to add and I look forward to it. Also to all the people with great videos, thank you for all the helpful videos that explain very complex ideas simply for people like me.

It would be nice for some updated videos, stuff in .18 isn't as relative as stuff now in .24.2, anyone can make a rocket in sandbox mode, but becomes a real challenge to new players when none of the parts from a tutorial is available in career mode. Please, update some of the videos to current versions, thank you.
  22. I have gone threw a lot of this mods pages, and I'm sorry if it has already been ask, I searched the web for 3 hours last night. I'm ready in game to take my first baby steps to the Mun and I can't figure out how much life support I need. Is there some place I can find a list of travel times between the different bodies? I have a bad habit of trying to over engineer stuff, and I don't want to pack 20 tons of life support if I only need 5 tons. Or if someone can point out a general guide line for how much to pack to go where, would be grateful.

  24. Thank to all the hard work that has gone into this little gem. I can't wait till it is updated, it adds so much flavor to an already great game.
