Any tutorial on 2.5m rocket design? the max deltaV i can get with 2 booster stages and a mainsail body is 4500m/s --' i remember i landed a 2.5m lander on Mun, but then i stopped KSP for 1 week or so, so i forgot how to build good 2.5 rockets

1.25m for Mun / Minmus (and sometimes Duna and Eve) 2.25 for low DeltaV missions (send a Koyouz spaceship to dock to a station) 3.75 for Jool space station refuel / life support / kerbal recovery 0.65 for KSP Interstellar nuclear probes

That's a bad case of kessler syndrom...
Cochonrambo31 replied to Cochonrambo31's topic in KSP1 Discussion
does anyone here know a realistic way to remove the debris with this tech tree: (btw, it's the result of a collision between Koyouz 4 (Mk 1-2 pod with lots of life support and service stage) and a space station) I have KSP Interstellar, B9, Kethane, KW Rocketry, KAS, Orbital Science, a camera mod, and a mod to resize parts -

Uhm... I would recover jeb then think about changing the standard orbit height XD -

KSP 64-bit on virtual machine?
Cochonrambo31 replied to SpacedInvader's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
even if you have a giant computer with Xeons and stuff, virtual machines can't support 3d apps. I tried, it failed. Even with my 16gigs and my I7 3770K, the virtual machine is laggy, and running more than 2 apps will slow down the virtual machine too much... -
KSP 64-bit on virtual machine?
Cochonrambo31 replied to SpacedInvader's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Virtual machine is like inception: the deeper you go, the slower it'll be. At the moment we can't run a virtual machine inside another one. But it's laggy enough to forget gaming on a virtual machine. BTW, i launched teamviewer in a virtual machine, to connect to another computer in which i started a virtual machine. It's really worth it, funny and laggy as hell XD -
thanks for the tips, i'm trying to use 3D softwares like Blender or Cinema 4D So yeah, i had to reuse a lot of stuff. for the loud sound, idk... my headphone's volume is set on 9% all the time, i don't even know if the video is loud or not :/ Again, it's very inspired by a lot of videos, i justed placed stuff not created by me (that explains the long credits^^) For the software used, it was Vegas pro 12 and After Effect. And, one last thing: Thanks for your constructive answsers, it's not "it sux 0/10" And this can help me for my next animation thanks EDIT: i couldn't understand everything in Carl Sagan's speech, as i'm french, his accent is a bit difficult to understand^^ I just though it was awesome when you had this song in background

Cochonrambo31 replied to Cochonrambo31's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
ok thanks -
I'm playing with FAR, Deadly Reentry, TAC Life Support, ect... For more realism i want to keep debris. Any way to do it?
-
i'm 14. In france it's my last year in collega, i'll be in high school next year.
-
at school i had a 2 hours conference about space debris. What can we do against them actually?
-
when i send a probe, i must check EVERYTHING. i have a check list: will the probe work with a nuclear reactor failure? can the probe survive a colision with a space station, a space shuttle, and a refueling probe? Is there any radiator? on each probe there must be 3 docking ports: 0.65m, 1.25m, and 2.5m. what's the Delta-V of the probe?

Soundtracks by Metallica "All Nightmare Long" - THIS IS A PARODY OF THE MUSIC VIDEO The original video is about spores found in Tunguska and soviet scientists are using it to take over USA. Basic. my version is about a crashed meteor on KCCP territory, Soviet kerbals send Jebediag to see what happened and strange things happens. Its my first video on Vegas pro 12.
