  1. You can overwrite the parts folder with the OP version and it MAY restore the old costs without causing too many problems. All the part cfg fixes like the node sizes will be reverted though.
  2. FYI. There is little need for KJR with the changes to joints that came in .23.5. That said, I'd need to see the ship to say anything about your issue.
  3. It's a problem with the game from what I understand. The hub has a similar problem I believe.
  4. If it were up to me, electric engines would only burn the same fuels at ion engines, thermal turbojets would only use atmosphere and liquid fuel, and thermal nozzles would only use lox. And I'd take an axe to the aluminum and methylox rockets. But kspi is founded upon at least the appearance of futuristic realism. If you saw the code that generate those numbers, you'd see that a lot of care went into the hows and whys. Even if I don't personally know them. /queuenerdfight
  5. I tried my hand at making a heavy duty landing gear / extractor part, but I'm no artist so I gave up. If anyone has an openly available model that would fit I would gladly work one into my version. For now, I personally use an MM patch to add extraction to the inline refinery. Both the extractor models have annoying problems with their models.
  6. xenon and monoprop are both high thrust and low isp. I don't generally use either because the tanks are heavier, but mostly because water is available in every system to refine to lox. Remember that there are two different types of plasma engines. The high thrust thrusters and the more balanced regular engines. You should be able to leave kerbin without having to deploy radiators. They still continue to function somewhat even when not deployed, and the convection boost helps a lot.
  7. If your tanks are not stack mounted to the refinery you will need to connect fuel lines, just as you would for non-stack mounted lox fuel tanks on a normal rocket. When in doubt, connect a fuel line backwards between the tank and irsu. (from the tank to the irsu.) The irsu can store enough water internally to convert to fuel. You don't need them unless you just like them.
  8. I have loaded a similar ship in my game without issue. I've tried to load your save, but it just crashes on me and I don't want to take the time to debug it. You have one of two issues. 1. Your fuel flow is broken. 2. You don't have enough power. On the power issue, I went back and looked at your video again. You aren't receiving 2.5 GW of power to your vessel. The DT vista requires 2.5GW to work. You need to set your station to relay and/or transmit, not to receive and transmit. I know my voice is hella boring to listen to, but the videos have all the information you need to know to properly setup and route power. If setting it to relay doesn't work, then you simply need to wait until the both kerbin and your vessel are line of sight to your station and try again. Or send out some relays. As to the fuel issue, there is nothing about kspi that would cause your fuel issue. The worst that could happen is the ISRUs refuse to refill your vessel.
  9. Last update was when .24 came out, which was like 2 weeks ago. As for the UI, it is temporary until I can figure out how to integrate it into toolbar options on command modules.
  10. The version posted in the OP is not compatible with 0.24.2. The version in my sig is the only working version that I know of right now.
  11. If you could post the exact details needed to replicate your issue that would be appreciated.
  12. I need you to show a log with the ship active. You should see errors.
  13. That's because it is prerelease and not ready. Even the latest version of a particular mod may not be compatible with the latest ksp version. Post your output.log in your data directory.
  14. I assume you are using some sort of other mod for resources. (I see kethane, which you failed to mention. ) Check that you do not have multiple versions of openresourcesystem's .dll file. Also, check that all of your mods are compatible with the current version. Especially if you've tweaked those fuel tanks to hold a different fuel type than stock.
  15. The thrust issue appears to be a lack of fuel. Have you tried toggling the engine? As you can see, fuel flow is 0. The power numbers appear to be fine. What you are seeing is automatic reception throttling. The receivers will only receive the amount of power that is being demanded by the vessel, for the most part. This is one of the features of the experimental build. Are you getting any errors in the log?
  16. It is not possible to have line of sight to the transmitters on kerbin all of the time with only one ship relaying power in orbit around laythe. You should watch my video on power networks. It explains how everything works.
  17. The current experimental build is for 0.24.2. It will not work for 0.24.0 because of api changes implemented by squad in 0.24.1. You can generally expect mods to only support the version which they are compiled for, which is usually the most recent version of ksp.
  18. Been too busy putting out fires. Changing stuff does require work, both in code and testing. I have development branch up now, so it should be easier for me to just let people try fixing stuff and see what breaks without messing up the "stable" build.
  19. The version in the OP is not compatible with the latest version of ksp. You'll need to stay with .23 or update your interstellar version. There is a working version in my sig, use the release version.
  20. It was literally just passing the flow mode to getconnectedresources. I see no reason why what I've done should break anything. Fractal rarely approves pull requests even when he is around.
  21. The only error in that log is not from interstellar. You might try a fresh save. With all of the changes to ksp, the instability of x64 and this gauntlet of mod updates, I would consider any working existing save luck more than anything. edit: Assuming you are installing interstellar properly. ie, delete old folders and install all folders and files from the .zip. wtb curse installer
