  1. As mentioned, the maps show the reasonable best-case scenario. Just looking at your trajectory in Minmus's SOI there, it looks like you've come in fast.
  2. The chief drawback of enlarged celestials remains more time-consuming launches to orbit. I recall ferram experimenting and something like a doubling of Kerbin's size suffices to restore delta-v needs to 5 km/s or so, which is enough. Also, a single release is never going to have all those changes.
  3. Congrats. Engine-only docking is tough.
  4. I can't recall anything that got beyond the design exploration/sketch stage and didn't eventually fly. My "Moho Apollo Style" ship never did go to Moho and probably never will, but it managed a successful (ish - some parts descended into farce) Mun mission. I've had a few ships that I never got really to use because they failed to land though, and I play aluminium-man mode. (Which means I usually don't revert/reload, but sometimes I do.) On my Minmus kethane expedition only one ship, the big one, landed safely. The little scout craft crashed due to pilot error, and the small kethane miner due to a design flaw - it was meant to use a kethane generator to power an ion engine, which put it in a nice chicken-and-egg situation! Also my Duna lander-rover disintegrated on parachute opening over Duna, but its twin sent to Eve performed excellently.
  5. Both. Put your ring of fire on top of a building.

DINGDINGDING! Making light of tragedy, - it's a game about fricking landmines making mere numbers - the way the game works of patient art and science, - real demining a grid at times in a grid in a grid. - the first grid is the one in the game. the second is the cube-farm office you might be playing it in, and the third is the city that office might be in For many the answer's close at hand, while some must travel near or far, - if you're reading this on your PC and you have Minesweeper installed it's right there. If you're not, say you're browsing the forums on a smartphone, you might have to go to another room or even across town to get to play it. but however long it takes - reference to the game being a timewaster, and the scoring is based on time too I hope you keep smiling. - the face in the classic windows version, it keeps smiling when things are fine
  7. No KSP today actually, but I did catch up partly on uploading my screenshots, with a whole bunch of new pics from the Magellan mission. Still not fully up-to-date mind.
  8. Screenie showing a few bits of the mod. Nothing major but it's a pic I like. https://flic.kr/p/oJh6FT Still on quite an old version so don't know if you've updated those science bits, but I'm assuming not.
  9. Yeah, my guess is the odd fuel units are a leftover from the early days of KSP. Remember at one point there wasn't even separate oxidizer, just a single "liquid fuel". Changing the units now would be a nuisance, especially if Squad want to avoid throwing older saves askew.

super, neither. i already said it's a computer game
  11. It does look good value. Medion are a cheap brand and they'll have cut some corners; I'd expect a motherboard with no fancy features and few expansion slots, value memory, the stock CPU cooler, a no-name PSU, and a cheap and plasticky case. (Which still looks dead cool though.) And I suppose the graphics card is only the regular 750 not the Ti version. None of those things are dealbreakers though, and I'd still expect it to be a decent system.
  12. 38 is indeed tricky. I'll leave it open for a bit longer but if nobody can come up with another solution I'll add exponentiation to the list of allowed operations.

Not graph paper - superseded by my second clue anyway. Not minecraft.

Good guess, but no. Nor any other Sim City.
  17. Getting it into orbit is, if not easy, at least simple. You just need a ginormous rocket. Alternatively, lots of rockets and assemble pieces in orbit.

    It's not. Clue 2: It's a computer game.
  19. Some random dood, who the radiation turns into a superhero.
  20. The rules say nothing about number of characters, only number of digits. Of which my previous example has nine.
  21. The similarities are fairly loose and general, but they're there. Both leave the player largely to determine their own direction as opposed to leading the player along a determined storyline, both have construction and exploration as important game elements, both are "indie" titles where gameplay takes precedence over ultra-detailed graphics, both are bolstered by an extensive range of mods.
  22. There's gotta be a bar or a nightclub named "The Moon" somewhere. Swim across the Himalayas.
