  1. Pretty cool. Though IMO you'll most likely get better performance and less weight by replacing the metal plates at the top.

It's pretty good starting plane, but the engine your using on that craft (primarily) only uses liquidfuel and oxygen to ignite, and your using a fuel tank that has both liquid fuel and oxidizer, the second not being used. This can affect balance and weight mid flight, you can either change out the tank for a liquid fuel one (Think it's called Jet fuel tank, or something like that) or you can use right click the tank in the editor and remove the oxidizer by sliding the green bar. If you actually want to use it in atmo, then you can set an action group (1-0) and simply change thrust mode. Also you should angle your wheels at 90 degrees, they tend to become very unstable on the runway like that.
  3. Awesome design! Wondering though if you'll be realising some fighter VTOL's any time soon, I really liked the old ones you did. They made for some great firing practise!
  4. Yeah, it looks great either way. But in theory you should be attach a nose cone to that pre-coolers. Granted you placed it the way I thought you did. Though to be honest I like it more the way it is now.
  5. Yeah, great idea. KSP is a bit back to front with it's aerodynamics, especially anything that's beyond or below 90 degrees, so it will definitaly be interesting to see which one performs well. Though I've improved the performance a bit, it's still not viable enough though.
  6. Decently stable, average turning circle. It does however only get up to about 130m/s under 300 meters, even though it should be capable of reaching Mach 1. It's acceleration is pretty terrible as well. Though I can't really predict what your experience with the craft might be, so download it for your self! http://jmp.sh/M7MLjmT
  7. Have you edited the grip on the wheels? I can imagine that they would be pretty slippery.
  8. Great craft, like the way you used the radiator panels and the MK2 parts, though the cut off between the engine bay and the fuselage is a bit sharp.
  9. Agreed, it's only the second version as well though. And it's a difficult craft to model (especially that air intake) however the only wing shape that looks similar to that of the ATD-X is the delta wing, and that tends to be to large. They're also pretty similar craft.

  11. If you gave that tilt rotor capabilities then I could imagine it would have a fairly decent cruising speed, then strap a gun on it and your all set.
