Well, I don't know much about it, but there is a mod called Kerbal Attachment System which I think would allow you to attach things to your science centre via winches and pipes and things, and it then counts both the crafts as one, but it is quite hard to get to grips to, I think. But I don't know really, I haven't used it.

Oh yeah, this part doesn't act like a docking port, I can see where you're confusion arises- the part is just for making a neat radial in the VAB or SPH connection onto 1.25 meter parts. It is massless and dragless, despite what it's part description says- its just a nicer looking alternative to a cubic octagonal strut. If you want to attach crafts together, you should use docking ports.

Does this work with action groups eg. having a group move a hip, knee and ankle joints on 1 leg one way, and the opposite way for each joint on the second leg with 1 action group?

Granted. The gravitational pull of one of the new gas giants sends Earth on an elliptical orbit that's apoapsis is outside of the habitable zone. I wish for a magical donut.

Okay, my entry so far, using the Ickle-Mobile Mk1: For mass: 500kg-355kg= 145pts For size: 1.1m (90pts) x1.7m(30pts) x1.0m(10pts)= 220pts For speed: (I have used the landing gear to my advantage here) 225.3m/s x5= 1126.5pts Here's picture proof of the speed: In total, 145pts+ 220pts +1126.5pts =1491.5pts With the measurements I haven't got screenies of, I forgot to take before KSP crashed. (I have some mod conflicting with Tweakscale) I will be attempting courses soon!

You could use the Hooligan Subs mod, works with 0.90 as far as I have tested.

I will attempt this- 10 iterations of jet-rover-boat haven't worked, but a jet-rover-sub is a possibility with Hooligan Labs! It could work quite well
