I really don't know if you call this a pet peeve, but anyway... Whenever I tell someone that I want to be an astronaut (I'm in high school), I get mixed reactions. It's usually "Good luck, NASA doesn't exist anymore" or "Cool, how many planets do you want to visit?". People just don't seem to be informed or interested in the space program. Nobody really takes notice when there is a rocket launch (at least the general public). It doesn't make sense to me why people don't care, because space travel is the coolest and greatest thing we have ever done. Please note that these are just based on my personal experiences.

We all hear about the "moon hoax" and how some people believe that the Apollo missions were all a hoax and we only did it to make the Soviets think we beat them. Have you met any of these people? I personally haven't.

DLCs are essentially pointless because a modder could create essentially the same thing for free. Example: If Squad made a more planets DL pack, people would just use some of the outer planet mods.

I always make pointy rockets with the exemption of career mode (I don't make pancake rockets in career, i just don't put node cones on to save money). I use asparagus often, but it isnt a giant pancake, more like the Kerbal X of FH

How does having a defueling icon make it more complex? If there is a refuel icon the there should be a defuel icon as well.

Wow... I just totally forgot about the launch after telling myself I would watch it... Campfires do that to you.

In my career save, I just sent a satellite to an orbit as designated by a company. I have reached the correct orbit and have maintained stability for ten seconds, but it says that my probe doesn't have power/antenna. I put an antenna on there, and it has power, so why is it saying I don't? The power is only in a battery and not in the probe itself.

You would need the right location, for one thing. Preferably in the middle of the desert, but on the coast would work as well. - - - Updated - - - Yes, If you want to have some control as to where it comes down. - - - Updated - - - Projects like this are good idea, and I really hope this works. However, I have seen other Kickstarter projects for suborbital rockets that never reached their goal.

I think the idea here is to collaborate with each other to make one larger video. (i mean, you can still make your own videos if you want.)

i am really hoping that Life support gets added, but my guess is it wouldn't be as sophisticated as TAC. probably just a single resource like snacks that drains rather than oxygen, water, etc.

I get bored of KSP from time to time. I just play CivBE for a few weeks and see when new KSP inspiration strikes me. I was playing Civ for a while until the SpaceX CRS5 mission got me into KSP again.

They still plan on working on it, but it is on the back burner until they get 1.0 working smoothly. 64-bit was so unstable and very few mods support it, so not much people used it anyway
