  1. When I open the widget there are no saved trails. I can only record a new trail. Any idea's? And I have 4 RTG's so i am ok on power. Yes Mk 7.... 2,3,4 were not that different besides adding ballest. Mk5 got the claw/ trailer working well, Mk6 added aero, Mk7 was to make it less ugly and lower drag. Currently I'm dreaming of a quarter or half size structural panel that doesn't have the flat section that sticks out. (See "side skirts" on Banjomobile Mk7 above.)
  2. So i have been improving the looks and ballast for the Banjomobile. (still trying to keep low part count...) I don't seem to have any tracks in the persistent trails widget thingy. I think there were supposed to be some. (Probably my fault.) Where can i get them form? and where do i put them? or is there only one so far? Thanks for the help and sorry if this is super obvious.
  3. The Banjomobile is down right ugly compared to these. I will consider redoing the cab and hopefully more. I have lots of ground clearance i don't need... Trying to get a friend to build a truck. We will see if that happens.
  4. Wow that is a lot of parts, but it does look nice. I run in the yellow with 2 100 part cabs loaded. Comparison of designs. Is there anything wrong with what i have built so far? (vs not added)
  5. Rig is assembled, and construction on new ships already begun. :)

  6. -Groov3st3r On the SIDE!?!?!?! I am at a loss of words. Enough said. I'm not even going to ask about the part count....
  7. Koolkei- Awesome Rig! Looks way better then mine..... Why didn't i do all my tests with a probe core? That would have saved some time. What is the part count? I would like to try it out but my computer is slow. General question. How do i move the FAR/ Kerbal engineer box/ window?
  8. Moving the Klaw even further forward would help. Looking at the Banjomobile now it is to short overall and the cab is below the top of the wheels. 44 tons is reasonable for a 6 ton truck IMO. How much affect does drag from non control surfaces affect speed? I don't have anything to compare with. Anyone else have a truck trailer prototype yet? I know this is competitive, but learning some from each each others designs can't hurt. Are there any rules about changing our trucks after the first or any race(s)?
  9. Here is my latest and greatest. I needed 2 more tons to get to the 6 ton minimum.... and fuel tanks were the highest mass/ part count Still not done by any means. The trailer works much better now. Me goofing off Long Range Mechanic Skills lvl 100 How do i insert an album?
  10. Welcome to the KSP forums!

  11. Congratulations on the recently found job! Thanks for all the tips. I will makes changes. Can i hold the payload in with struts? i tried without and it glitched/ fell through my trailer. Can i use non RCS fuel tanks (filled) for extra weight? (no jets or rockets) I have a 6 wheel trailer with wheels in the rear. I wanted the semi look. Is that ok? I am not running on the fastest computer, so i am trying to keep part count low. (2007 HP desktop 3 Gb RAM.) I don't run KSP full screen (1360x768) so that would explain the weird resolution.
  12. I use the lander cans because of the lower impact resistance. Sepatrons shoot them up in the air and they self destruct on impact. Nothing to clean up in tracking station. My current problem is that my truck does a wheelie when I unlock the Klaw for turning and I don't want to mess up the trucks COM without the trailer for racing.
  13. My truck has a higher top speed with the trailer. Even with no powered wheels. Are lander cans i jettison before driving to transfer the kerbals from ok? Do I need sidewalls on my trailer? Can I use struts to hold the load in? -How do I use spoilers in my posts? still solved
  14. Can i reserve this company name of Mumbo's Motors? KRF Truck Racing here i come! It is not anywhere near complete and is not in any way legal but... http://i.imgur.com/dKXnxY1.png"]Original resolution 1360x768 http://i.imgur.com/dKXnxY1.png The website's max width is 1,1?? so the image appears 1109x626 here.
