  1. So let's say that the warp bubble does not destabilize when in contact with matter, but actually pushes it away. Also, I think a ship carrying the drive would average about 70 metric tons, and that might be the lower end, because the drives aren't going to be pocket sized, nor will they be as light as a feather. If you throw in a moderate sized nuclear reactor (With shielding, of course) you get a pretty heavy ship. Speed Of Ship = 10*299792458m/s = 2 997 924 580m/s (That is really, really fast) Mass = 70 000kg So we have that out of the way. Good, so now we can get onto the next part. 70 000*2 997 924 580 = 209 854 720 600 000N So. This number is a little large. The force this thing is packing is going to drill quite a large hole in any earth sized (Or less) planet, atmosphere or not. I think the atoms directly in this thing's way will fission, making the damage even worse. We would all die. From the heat, force (Enough to very badly destabilize the planet's orbit and send half of it flying out of the solar system) and radiation. Sorry.
  2. Oh well. But maybe you can upload the mod to Mediafire or Dropbox, and be completely free of curse.
  3. I just have one question, Will We Eventually Be Able To Download It? I think that might satisfy many people here.
  4. I think a great idea would be to make a map of the territories in EnterElysium's WWK (World War Kerbal) series, with the countries like the NAT and Styx. That would be cool. Maybe go check it out. Maybe not.
  5. Maybe I'll go try to run KSP. I think I might have run the .bat before and got the cfg's in. Could work. EDIT: It works. Sorry for wasting your time people.
  6. Sorry, I seem to have an issue with the .bat file. I did what the forum page told me to do, and here is what happened: 1. Open .bat 2. Select 'Apply to all KSP parts' 3. See a part (NASA patch) come up with options (Yes/No/All) 4. Type 'All' 5. The .bat acts as if I said 'Yes' and does only one file. 6. I move on, do the same thing to about 20 files. And it still does not work. Would love some help.
  7. I just saw the amount of replies! I was impressed by how much you care about newcomers. Well I've made a few ships to go to planets but have ditched the missions due to 'minor' problems (Like forgetting solar panels or enough fuel to get into orbit, you know, minor things). Most of my missions have been in Kerbin's sphere of influence, like Mun or Minmus. But I shall put these tips to use! Thanks for the support. Next stop Jool Five!
  8. If you are really having trouble getting into Kerbin orbit, you can watch one of Scott Manley's very informative videos on the YouTube. They range from building a ship to landing on a planet. Have fun!
  9. I have been playing KSP since 0.19, but have put off joining the forum for who-knows-what . The point is that I know KSP, but kind of struggle with the whole plan your missions thing. I'm more like a blow things up and get bored with Mun missions because you forgot the flag. Anyone know how to actually plan a mission? I would love to know a good method.
