  1. I've got it! Hydra. It means Dragon in Latin. Thanks for the input guys.
  2. Hi there! I have just developed a lander-thing that acts like SpaceX's Dragon v2: It has rockets to land, instead of a parachute. I am having trouble coming up with a name for it, so I turned to the awesome KSP community. Ideas?
  3. Well, I've never gone interplanetary other than an Eve orbiter. Ill get on that tomorrow.
  4. The KASA Archives Here you can find all of KASA's best missions, as well as snapshots from those missions. The Kerbin Space Station, v1 (Retired) The most recent picture of the station This mission is to test my docking skills, as well as my skills to put things into orbit. This mission required a special rocket, and I wanted something sort-of realistic, so I modeled my Eagle rocket off of the Falcon rockets, by SpaceX. The Eagle rocket takes any module I need, and even functions as a shuttle from the station and Kerbin. This station has no scientific value, as it is being built in sandbox mode. VIDEO OF A MODULE BEING ADDED: The Eagle Project (Retired) The Eagle Project is a series of rockets that brings modules and Kerbals alike to the KSS (read above). Eagle I (retired) The Eagle I was used to test bringing small to medium payloads into a 100km orbit. It could, but with only a few units of fuel left. Eagle Heavy (Retired) The Eagle Heavy is used to bring anything to the KSS. It is used to carry the Eagle Shuttle (no picture) to carry 3 Kerbals to the station, and back. Magna (active) Magna is another spacecraft to get stuff to the KSS. Magna I (retired) NO PICTURE Magna I sent the first Hydra craft to the KSS. Magna I was very unreliable, as seen in the video below. Hydra (Retired) Hydra is the new shuttle to the KSS. It lands like the Dragon, v2 by SpaceX: rocket power. Hydra v1 (active) Hydra v1 is a proof of concept, and has gone many minor tweaks to perfect it since the video above. (picture soon) The Pluto Project (retired) The Pluto Project was a series of missions to put Kerbals on both moons of Kerbin. It was my first successful landing and return from either moon (legitimately). The Pluto Project then turned into a mission to build a base on Minmus, but after a few modules were placed, more focus on the KSS. All crew at the Minmus Base were returned to Kerbin on a Pluto VII rocket on July 27, and further plans for the Pluto Project are on hold. 5. Though it isnt super impressive, here is my first station that I just finished adding the giant solar panels to. PS: I have the astronomers visual pack: How do I get rid of that Cloud GUI?
  6. Though not much, I feel this to be one of my best crafts: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/87879-The-Eagle-Project?p=1298981#post1298981
  7. Eagle Get Your Probe Up Thereâ„¢ The Eagle rockets are for putting probes around Kerbin. They were modeled after the Falcon rockets. Note: The rockets in the picture have a probe on the top. The probes shown are not the only thing that can be launched via these rockets. Eagle I Need a small or medium sized probe sent into an LKO? Eagle I is the perfect rocket for you. Featuring parts from KW Rocketry, this rocket is perfect for your Kethane or ScanSat probes! Eagle Heavy Need something in an equatorial Kerbosynchronous orbit? Eagle Heavy is the best rocket for the job. This rocket gets you mostly into a Kerbosynchronous orbit, but you will need a probe that carries 100 units (preferebly more) units of RCS to perfect your orbit. Ideas? Comments? Let me know!
  8. Thanks, I figured that out just after I posted it.
  9. Welcome to the KASA Image Archives (KIA) Here you can find KASA's Images from our modded Career universe. Kerbin, from LKO. Taken from our second mission that was directed to get science for a Munar flyby. More Images coming soon!
  10. I just downloaded Chatterer, and had no problems. I am sorry that I cannot offer any help.
  11. I would... If I could grab onto it first. I came close, but the ship and TED collided. Good thing I had a quicksave beforehand.
  12. Well, a normal engine can't go backwards... Plus, we dont want to go any bigger, as we dont want to break our machinery.
  13. Operation TED For SCIENCE What is Operation TED? Operation TED (OT for short) is KASA's mission to grab an asteroid, put it into a (fairly) circular orbit, and then build a small "hotel" on it. Why is OT named TED? Ted is going to be the name of the asteroid. Ted isnt an acronym. KASA felt like Ted needed to be capitalised. When will it be complete? OT should be complete in its entirety in about 3 days. We have to pick the right asteroid. What size asteroid are you going for? Something between A-C Class sized asteroids. These will be easy to pull into a (fairly) circular orbit using only RCS. BUT... WE NEED YOUR HELP! If you have any ideas, let us know!
  14. Ive seen this happen all over the place, yet I can't get it to happen to me!
  15. Launch: nishagat (pronounced NEESH-ah-GAHT) Abort: reynved (pronounced RAY-neh-VED) Decouple: Fruynutmintonov (pronounced FROY-noot-MEEN-tonov)
  16. Thanks! Question: How do I change my sig. and my profile picture? It would be much appreciated!
  17. Thanks! I just landed a rover on the moon for the first time.
  18. KASA: Thinking Further Hi, I am KASA Space, but if you'd like, you can call me Eric! I am a relatively new to the KSP game, so my missions are most likely not interesting to most who have played the game for over a year. I post all of my images to imgur. Click here to view! Soon, I will be finishing my Space Station, though I do need to learn how to dock properly first. Have any ideas for missions? Let me know. Otherwise, thanks for reading my profile!
