  1. Yeah, was pretty sure the animations issue was on the side of AIES. Just wanted to check here first, as this mod is quite definitely WIP and you all definitely know a bit more about this than me
  2. Hey, so I've been trying out AIES (As I know it is "kinda" supported by RO), but I have discovered a glaring issue with some of its best parts: The Antennae don't Animate. Does anyone know if this is a problem with AIES or the fact that it is beyond incompatible with RP-0?
  3. Using Gasoline in a rocket would be similar to buying Sushi from a Gas Station. Yeah, you could PROBABLY do it, but you should probably be getting your Sushi elsewhere.
  4. Basically, from what I gather, your assumption that it extends vertically seems about right. I can imagine that there would be more than one set of solar panels into it, so that it could essentially cover the outside of the craft with solar panels. Basically, it might look something like the following (and admittedly horrible) ASCII drawing: | = Solar Panel [ ] = Fueltank/Assorted "Stuff" in Main Fuselage { } = Solar Panel Stowage | [ ] | | [ ] | | [ ] | { } | [ ] | | [ ] | | [ ] | Should be something like that. I hope. P.S. I have absolutely no technical knowledge, and just went off of the pictures and a quick skim of the background. I'm just imagining it like a vertical part in KSP that deploys solar panels vertically
  5. "I cant look at the stock parts anymore without barfing!" 10/10 wouldn't blow up their now pretty rockets again
  6. You appear to be lacking one of the most useful pieces of logic there is: If-Then statements. You could have a part that could, say, detect "If" a tank is empty of fuel, and "Then" refuel it with fuel from another tank.
  7. Avionics are coming? Well, that kinda sucks.. I liked launching to the Moon using a Jupiter-V replica controlled by an Explorer probe..
  8. Pjf, I was just fretting about trying to suck all the science out of biomes with my Satellite-That-May-Or-May-Not-Have-Had-Solar-Panels-Because-I-Didnt-Expect-To-Make-Orbit.
  9. "RIP ____ Kerman. No one liked you." RIP Seecan Kerman.. RIP Gedwin Kerman.. RIP Bill and Bob Kerman..
  10. Wait, what? The X-Ray thing was a bug? Huh. Well, then, no more desperately trying to get all the X-Ray science from tiny biomes anymore!
  11. This all looks really cool, and totally reminds me of the old "Wrong Brothers" thread. If you havent seen it, you can find a link to it in.. the first threads of the month post, I think.
  12. Roth, the Soviet Engines arent supported, but I use them anyways (With my own discretion). Basically, they unlock ridiculously early, so I recommend that if you use them, make yourself wait for a later node when you think you should unlock them. They are too massive for general use in the beginning, anyways. - - - Updated - - - Oh, and I would also like to say that this mod is suprisingly well balanced. Its extremely difficult, and a touch finicky at times, but if you love realism, you will not be able to get enough of this. I'm personally only at the point in the game where my Sounding Rockets are barely flying outside the atmosphere, but I am LOVING it regardless.
  13. I already have seen it is incompatible with RSS, but I would like to know HOW incompatible. Is it minor errors that throw you off by a few kilometers, or does it just absolutely break during its calculations.
  14. Thanks, Nathan. Friendly neighborhood Moderator, to the rescue!
  15. Well, does anyone know if Modular Fuel Tanks works with this? I would assume it is, but over the past two I hours I have learned NEVER to assume anything with RO.
  16. Ah, I probably should have gotten the links. Anyways, I just sent you a FR on Steam. - - - Updated - - - Water Lily - http://incompetech.com/music/royalty-free/index.html?isrc=USUAN1400035 String Impromptu Number 1 - http://incompetech.com/music/royalty-free/index.html?isrc=USUAN1300004 Space 1990 - http://incompetech.com/music/royalty-free/index.html?isrc=USUAN1200108 The Path of the Goblin King - http://incompetech.com/music/royalty-free/index.html?isrc=USUAN1100873
  17. Yeah, good you answered back quickly. I was already looking through some more Upbeat songs. - - - Updated - - - Currently have a list of some songs. Tell me how you like them. -Water Lily -String Impromptu Number 1 -Space 1990 -The Path Of The Goblin King
  18. Well, I'll look into music for you guys. Any contribution is fine by me. What kind of music would you like? Genre, that is. - - - Updated - - - Currently Surfing the Incompotech Website.
  19. Two things: 1: Good, Kevin Macloed is great, and so is his music 2: Im not sure if I would be able to help as often as you may like. I'll still help around a bit, if you would like, but more because I think this is a neat thing you are doing, and I'd like to provide a little bit of help.
  20. If you dont know already, Lithobraking is a way of rapidly decreasing one's velocity via collision with a physical body, or hitting the ground very hard to slow down. Yeah, its INCREDIBLY impractical, but is there any logic to the idea? I mean, Rule of Cool and all, but could it actually be done and what are the benefits?
  21. Well, easy fix for some free background music: Kevin Macloed. As well, I would not be afraid to do the occasional fact check for you, if you really needed the help.
  22. Space Probes? THATS MY JOB! Actually, though, welcome aboard. Its nice to have a fellow Boom-Expert on board
  23. Because Soaryn. Seriously, though, its for the, and I quote here, "the lels". Why would an (arguably) intelligent being invent something tnat uses controls explosions to get to space before the wheel? BECAUSE WHY NOT.
  24. Would like to know if Skillful integration will ever become a thing? Because, while Skillful DOES have pretty booms, you have pretty boom-makers.
  25. Just one addition I hope you can make: please and my absolute favorite US (Technically NASA and ESA, but, ya know, 'Merica): Cassini-Huygens. Its a great 'ol probe, that could have some interesting uses in KSP
