  3. I new and glorious dawn awaits! http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-17827347] http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-17827347 Plans have been made for mining of meteorites, and for the first time in two years I don\'t feel like killing myself for a change lol jkjk But seriously though, this could lead to better quality of life on earth, or better yet, space colonization. Oh lawd. Just think of the possibilities this could bring.
  4. everything except from the node that it is attached to the ship is counted as down.
  5. those engines had a tendency of breaking of during launch, so those struts increased the launch success rate by 60%.
  6. Really good pack, slew! 8) one thing i would add though is the possibility if having the mei long capsule engines fire while something is attached to the bottom.
  7. From the great minds behind (insert rocket name), I present you the Jupiter Mk.5! While it isn\'t the most efficient rocket in our lineup, it sure is the strongest. It\'s first stage will get you out of the atmosphere, and the secondary will get you into orbit and beyond. This model has a Münar mission pack attached on the top. The ship weights in at over 250 tons at launch, with the first stage weighing more than half of that. It can also be used for exo-solar missions. (PS: Text under pictures.) The first stage, containing 24 LV-T 30s firing at an estimated total of 124 seconds with 4,8 kilo newtons of thrust and will leave you at a height of approximately 45000 meters during a vertical launch. Second stage firing. Please note that the gimbaled engines in the centre are also ignited, but are draining fuel from the outer tanks. Mün transit stage, weighing in at below 20 tons. Various stats:

  13. Next step: Lander legs. Will those be similar to the stock legs, or do you have something else in mind?
  14. Oh praise teh Lawd! That fixes the main problem with my systems. I have to disperse those cargo packages you had in the previous version all over to balance my craft.
  15. Nothing AFAIK. Novasilisko, did you say that those thrusters located the center of inertia of the craft and reduced thrust where needed?
  16. That is a solid booster and a fuel tank, amirite? Also, not to nag or anything, but please spoiler teh images.
