hmm, scrubbed again, recycle for tomorrow
-
the technical poll is go, weather is no go

a minute or so ago:
-
well, this list is not valid any more... proton launch has been moved to the right from march 5th... launch dates change quite often
-
according to some news from ula (atlas rocket provider), the possibility for bad weather is 60%
-
well, if you dont care what rocket you will see, then i have good news for you - with current flight rate, it is a little more than one flight per week... what this is means is something like this: - before the end of feb, one chinese rocket will launch - then on march 5th, russian proton will start from baikonur - march 9th is ariane with atv supply vehicle for iss - and then for the rest of march there are some more launches planned - pegasus, delta iv, proton once more, one indian launcher and japan h-2 and this way it continues for the whole 2012 and in august there are planned 2 EVAs on iss (similar to the one that was yesterday)

start is scrubbed... recycle for tomorrow... edit: removed info about winds... apparently they were not reason for the scrubbed start
-
the poll is go... waiting for green upper winds... edit: winds are green

okay first thanks for replay, then few my points yes, i am aware they dont look as portraied... what i know about quantum physics, then nothing like electrons orbiting nucleus exists (at least in the way it is portraied)... to have different elements you need different number of protons in nucleus, not different number of electrons i am not sure gravity is that significant in atoms - it is very weak force - more significant in atoms are strong interaction and weak interaction (both in nucleus) and electromagnetic force (in a whole atom) then, electrons can orbit only on given energy levels - it can be calculated, of course, what they are... each energy level can have only specific number of electrons - the number depends of the level... well, something like this long time ago was my uni physics course
-
according to what? i was told there is nothing like 'elements orbiting nucleus'... it\'s just a helpful concept to make understanding easier for high school or some basic physics courses...

A rant about people who are hyperbiased for Russian rockets.

actually, something like that... the fire burned the wire that should activate LAS and then it had to be activated by radio command... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soyuz_T-10-1 -
hello all, i am a little curious - just to know what is wrong in my thinking... thus the question: how is it that efficiency increased, when for both engines the Isp (which is the efficiency of engines) is lower than it was in the previous version?
