Can MechJeb land a spacecraft at precise coordinates?

I use the same method that Spark Plug uses; plant a flag and then target the flag with MechJeb. I find with landers, MechJeb can freak out a little bit when below 2km or so, and I tend to take over at the point to get a nice smooth landing. -

I'm pretty new to Kethane as well, I'm liking the pairing with Extraplanetary launchpads that gives me incentive to build bases on other planets.

Long time lurker, first time posting. Just wanted to start a thread to get new ideas for fun things to do. I'm currently building a Kethane/Extraplanetary Launchpads Base on Mun, and trying to perfect an passenger/cargo SSTO Plane. Will add pictures when I get home. What do you do when you open KSP?
