I think we will let the rest of the members vote before we start this. The big idea is at least putting battles and collaboration stuff of all of it edited together, but I would understand the no. That or maybe at least a news network type of thing where there are short, brief, recaps about what basically happened during the turn with little to no details.

I have stated in the past that you can use other small mods to help you like improved docking, but that is the only required mod. What time zone are you in?
-
Hmmm...... SInce I will be calling my corp phenox corp, I am thinking phenox, but I am bad with names, so let me know if you come up with a better one. Also have you seen Delfiler recently? I haven't heard from him in awhile. Do you have any contact info for him? I will try to reach him on youtube.
-
Please come join us! What time zone are you in? We will be using few mods, and don't worry, I am also a noob, so I am going to make sure it is noob frendly, and make sure our lives are made as easy as possible. The only mod we will be using is KSP Multiplayer.
-
This is due to us looking for more people. I plan to start in around a week. These things don't start instantly
-
I am thinking we will have a max of 4 planets for the initial claim. We will also be doing a test round to do bug fixes. Also what do you think about my other posts?
-
Also I was thinking that macy's ships will work well as basic ships, but can anyone fill in the gaps and design basic ships for the rest? Also clams. What do you guys think? Control for three turns? Also, how long do you think a turn should be? A month in in game time, 2 months? (Also consider the people in different time zones. We need some way to accommodate for them) Also in setup, turns will no pass. I also want to point out that we really need one more person. I can get my brother if push comes to shove by we need at lease 3 corps to get this going well.

read the last post on 9. 2 things. A) How should we handle videos? All on one channel together, or on serrate channels? (channel name will be Kerbal Corp Wars) I don't have a good username for this. Any ideas? The idea is if A is accepted, then we upload all of the views on one channel and do a turn video of all of the big points put together in one video. Then we can upload separate videos on our own channels on small details. Also make battles there own videos. Also I was thinking I would be "Gamemaster". Any objections? Finally a new idea of the building system. How about we do a thing where we have a base price for the size and then add price based on the shots. Like 1 for small shots that can be loaded normally and 2 for medium and 3 for large. Any thoughts? Also I was thinking we would do a test game once ready. We would upload these videos and use these to make changes and balance. What do you think? General jist: 1) Fighter only small missles (can dock with carrier) 2) Satellite defences. Any missles 3) Frigate medium and small (can only dock with a super carrier) (about the size of the things ramming macy's fighters in the final fight) 4) Cruiser medium and small (Is to big to dock with a super carrier) (about the size of the ship with like 50 missles) 5) battleship small to large (The armored thing that macy built that destroyed a carrier) 6) carrier none (size of macy's) 7) supercarrier small 8) any sort of ground defense used to launch ships.

Alright. THE PLANETS! So! These are the planets! First of, Kerbol Kerbin, and the Mun are off limits. Also everything past the asteroid belt doesn't exist XD Note! Missing Dres. Between Duna and Jool, and Pol the 5th moon of Jool. Also Eeloo after Jool. So Planets we have up for grabs are! I just want to point this how. What should the planet limit be? We will sort this out before planets are picked! Moho: No one | 2.70 m/s2(0.275 g) gravity, no atmosphere. No shuttles! No ground combat! (An't nobody got time for dat! Reason, until tested, the thick atmosphere will make things no go so well) (planes don't work!) I just had a idea. Yes I am putting this right by it. How about Jool offers a additional 15 BP per turn to the person who owns the most planets? At the start people can only claim half. This will be a good early war. Also you can't land on jool, so ya Tylo: No one | 7.85 m/s2(0.8 g) gravity, no atmosphere. Well, now that I have my new computer that can run KSP on max and treat it like a background program, I am most deffinatly ready to start recording. We just need to set up a time and do the intro video. We also need to split up the planets and leave some open for future additions.
-
Also I would like to bring up ai ships. I believe with taking over ships, we made it so the attacker has to equal the number of defenders, but should we change it to outnumber for balance reasons? Also how should we treat it if there's a ai on the ship? If there is a tie? Also I would like to hear what people have to say on the cost of things. Are the rovers and shuttles too cheap? You can attack them during combat. Also do ships and building cost to much/little? What do you guys think?
-
choninja21 your is a fighter delfiler.... To be honest I don't know what this is.... Can you please elaborate? Is entire thing a missile? Does it shoot missles? Or does it go and drain the enemies fuel? Based by it's size I would guess it is a fighter. However it could also be classified as a missile depending on what it does.
-
Everyone is going to be one corp. I would just like one corp to avoid fighting, however It is optional. By the way as a side note, what do you guys think of the trader? Do you guys think it is a good idea? I mean it is god, because the person doing it is someone who can't get on the often, so it helps them participate, but I am wondering how viable or fun it will be for other people and the person doing it.
-
The seller is only going to own one planet for testing purposes. I also strongly encourage testing you ships before launching. Also all failed launches can be relaunched for free, or we can even just tp it into space/enable infinite fuel to save us time. There are few if any people who like launching sequences.
-
not bad. It even looks nice.
-
When we are building the ships we will inspect it and assign it a ship type which will set the price to build it. We will also keep track of turns and write down the construction points as to keep track of how much someone can build.
-
Anyone have any concerns about balancing? Specifically pricing?
-
That just means you can sell the swarm that much more! By the way, I will allow people to give you cp to get ships. Also we can destroy it! Hurry! Get the super tolerant stack pole and drop it from interplanetary velocity of it!
-
No recourse mods. The only big mod we might add is a multiplayer mod. The only other mods allowed are the ones that just make your life easter. Also thank you for bringing up the why part. There is a limited number of buildings per planet that give you science, which you can use to get the money to make big things that go boom! Or ships or more science buildings. Whatever you like. It's a war for science basically, because they can make a lot of money.
-
Unless the roach is a scout, it doesn't need speed. unless you want to troll anyone who tries to destroy your rover. It's based on the amount of planets you control and the buildings on them. You could put 50 buildings on 1 planet, but if that planet gets take then I won't cry for you. I will laugh. muhahahahahahahahaha! No seriously don't put all of your buildings on one planet. I will probably put in some system where the more you have on a planet, the less effective they become or put some sort of cap for everything to stop that from happening. The buildings are permanent and can't be destroyed ever! Also we will all get starting buildings, and ships so don't worry about that. By the way, you should all keep in mind that it is perfectly ok for someone to take all of your planets. We will set a minimum science level, but that can happen, so don't put all of your eggs in one basket and let one of his swarms come along and ruin your day. Also I think sense the swarm is a living missile, I will classify it as a extra large missile. I will add it to the construction list. That thing can take out like 5 stations. Also keep in mind that you build stations in segments and it's perfectly ok to send up a missile in a single ship. To replenish missiles by the way, you have to buy another one. Also the swarm will be aloud to do a resupply on it's basic outer 4 missiles for regular cost.

The buggy looks nice and durable, but is their any antenna for transmission? Also I would like to keep as many biggies as possible ai run. It's free and fine for them to be ai. The roach seems to be a very minimalistic rover that I would armor up a bid, due to the fact that it wouldn't increase the cost. I think the smart missile should be a smart warhead. Think of macy small smart missile as a smart missile. These would be the smark version of his (I think destroyer or battle ship) any flagship rockets, the ones with boosters strapped to them. However very nice. I really like it. The swarm is almost a living missile. That would shred carriers and most things it attacks. I can't really tell if it is 100% missile or not. I would imagine the swarm to basically be a clump of smart missiles. By the way, this brings up a point about smart missiles. We need to create some increased cost for them and increased cost for warheads. Maybe a small starting cost and a greater refuel cost or something.

It's sad that no one can truly replicate his work, so I am trying a different approach. I don't know if it will be good until we try it, so let's cross our fingers and see what happens. I have notices when I saw a couple of these series, they didn't last that long, or were very very slow. Hopefully we can get this fast paced and fun. I mean we will have multiplayer, so there will be better combat, and maybe some airplane battles (probably not, due to targeting issues).
-
that would be awesome. Also I will try to figure something out. I don't want to say say "No you can't join!"
-
9 hours apart would be a very big problem...... It's only a 7 hour difference with him and a 9 hour difference with you. Any combat would be very limited. Not to mention combat between you to would be impossible. You guys could work together as traders, but again combat would be a pain and avoided. Not to mention you guys are 8 hours apart from each other.

Alright I will make sure you get a planet to test on.
