  3. I have been talking to defiler and was wondering if you guys would be interested in posting everything on one channel. Advantages: 1) easier access to all of our videos. 2) we can stagger the videos for constant release. (people like that) 3) we can still link our channels to it. 4) we will all be able to respond to ALL of the fans comments with less channel jumping of our own! Easier to do montage stuff with recaps and such. Also, the recording window for us is 10a.m. to 3p.m. UTC -5 time!
  4. Guess what that means! It means this saturday I will try to get the server set up properly and we will be able to blow each other up while we talk! The starting day is upon us!

  6. Do you guys both want to be the trader and be one person, do you want to be a help man who helps set up events, and or do you want to be a separate personality. If I remember correctly, defiler you have some good ideas for story, and so do I, so we will both be working on getting that done well.

  12. For recovering..... That is the best idea I have heard..... WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF THAT?!

I am talking about, "oh I survived, but lost all of my armor, so this ship is now paper, I am going to recycle this and get a new ship with armor!", or "I lost half my ship and it can still be flown, I am just going to fix/replace this now." You can always refuel, but that is mainly what the trader is for. The trader makes the outposts you get weapons and fuel at from other planets other than kerbain.
  14. couple of things. delfiler do you have any comments? Also 1) 3-4 days per turn in real days sound fine? We can make it so if someone falls behind we can lag behind a bit and let them catch up. It would set a good time crunch, and it shouldn't be that hard with hyperedit and timewarp. 2) recycling, any thoughts? We would be allowed to use hyperedit if possible to replace the ship. Also the problem with planet numbers has been solved! last things I wanted to bring up: 1) build delay! I am thinking 1 turn to build it and launch it. Sound fair? 2) ship limit. Should we limit the number of ships people can make? Like a control limit? Just a idea of something we can do to keep peoples armies from getting ridiculous and keeping wars shorter. We take care of these issues, then we should be ready to do some initial tests, then a practice game, and then the real thing! Also what do you think of the influence idea? I am sure they would want funders. This would have to be carefully set or though....

  16. Update: 1) I've decided I am going to start doing this. Just now. 2) Thedogs has been officially removed due to inactivity/lack of participation. 3) I am now completely officially going to make a activity REQUIREMENT. You must post on the forums at least once a week saying something about what we are talking about whether agreeing, pointing stuff out, or bringing stuff up. If you do combat stuff, I want to see a post from you at least TWICE a week. I want to make sure you all aren't dead and are still interested. You lost interest in things you don't participate in! Thank you for your time.
  17. I don't want there to be too much of a time crunch in real time for people incase of problems. However if you launch a ship just to sit around till you want to revert where you left off, that can work out well.
  18. remaining issues/confirmations: 1) What is the maximum number of real days we should spend on a turn? 2) Are we going to treat recycling as small damage 25% BP spend or 75%, moderate damage (a little under half) 50% paid or back, and heavy damage (little over half the ship is gone) 75% to repair 25% back. Then if it's damaged past that then it is considered destroyed, and it would cost more to repair it than to buy a new one. The trader would be able to add a fee on top of this or discount if he chooses to pay out of his pocket. 3) Should I make the mun available so everyone can have 3 planets or should I make ut so everyone can only have 2?

  20. The reason why I want to not use hyper edit to get to other planets is I think that would start pushing it from the convenience to game changing. Besides, moving a fleet there will give the person at that planet some warning of you coming and allow them to prepare instead of tping there.
  21. Let me clear something up. Hyper edit will be used to help move around the ksp police if need and getting in orbit around KERBAIN. No were else! Only in limited circumstances can you tp it to another planet. Secondly, with repairing a ship, I would say we leave it to the judging of the trader the BP you get/it costs, so it makes having him on your good side a whole lot better. Also with the planet. You cannot build buildings. You already have the special stations you can build around planets (Which you can hyperedit to their location) with are really powerful, can go around Every celestial body and you get .75 BP per turn per celestial body that has one part around it. Why does it counter possession of gilly? p.s. Should I keep the trader counting as a civilian, or allow people to attack him? The thing is he is going to be building a lot of ships.
  22. We are ony using hyper edit to get to space. NOT travel through it. Also I mean we can't wait for windows so it will probably take a year to travel to jool sometimes.
