  1. Currently shoehorning mods into a clean install, until I ran KSP to check it was still stable with this in. all I can say is oh my gawd! This takes a great game and makes it beautiful! Thank you so much for this, the difference from V4 to 5 is breathtaking, the auroras are eyecandy for the astronut in me
  2. just seen the update and done my customary happy dance, then had a sad when the dropbox said no So much waiting D:
  3. Pushed the screen resolution upto 1080p and now after the load screen, i get the loading icon bottom right, with a blank screen for about 1 minute, then audio bugs creep in with the start screen song and then it causes my computer to freeze. Now crawling through files to drop the resolution back down. ::edit:: computer freezes at 1080x and 1684x900, going to monitor RAM load as i scale the window up from 1024x768 and report back. Yeah.... No... It's repeatedly glitching and causing my computer to freeze and 1x BSOD too. Looks like I'm out guys :/
  4. hey Jordan, did you perform a clean install prior to moving the x64 unity player an mono.dll in to your game?
  5. In the process of re-installing KSP 23.5 to patch in the x64 hack. Deleted ~1.55GB of data, but steam is only downloading ~0.5GB... Looks like I wasn't thorough with moving my mods in and out ^^; Tonight's aim is to put a clean install in and then test the x64 hack runs on my machine: Dell XPS17, 16GB corsair DDR3 RAM, Nvidia555M GPU, Intel i7-2820QM CPU, windows 7 x64 home premium OS, HDD with the KSP install is a Crucial CT960 M500 SSD. Now to wait for the downloads to finish... Time to watch Scot Manley!Right the x32 install is done and stable at ~1.5GB of RAM, now to apply the x64 parts... Aww yiss! Got the x64 Unity engine moved in and the corresponding mono.dll, and I have the glorious trifecta of Bob, Bill and Jebediah staring at me over the loading bar! Right install seems stable, and I have replicated the separator glitch with stock rockets. So this weekend I shall a) Get that annoying glitch debugged (hopefully) and then spend the best part of the weekend moving mods in and out, checking cross compatibility, and seeing how MODs with dependencies such as EVE, Fustek, modular storage and Interstellar get on in a brave, new x64 world! All whilst documenting my results for all of Kerbal kind <3 So exciting! Any ideas or requests for my meddling, please let me know and I shall endeavor to accommodate
  6. Thanks guys Been derping around with my install, hit the RAM limit earlier so I have been balancing the MOD load for now, going to be looking at putting in the x64 modification so I can get the last few in. There really are som excellent and beautiful mods out there, looking at a list of ~30 once I get them all installed. Does anyone have an opinion on the life support mods please, I was looking at the modular resourses and station science earlier, which seem to go hand in hand, and hoping that the compatible TAC expansion comes out soon, but this is one aspect which I currently have not got in my install. Derping around on kerbin at the moment trying to accumulate enough science to unlock the tier III techs (45sci), gotta get those solar panels so I can get a comm network up and running!
  7. Hey guys o/ Finally checking in after having played KSP for a long while now. Been playing around with MODs a lot recently (despite Curses best efforts) and have registered on the forum finally to say hi, and to weigh in here and there. Looking to start a play-with-me blog as I have an imminent 6 month deployment coming up, so I needed a project :3 Look forward to hearing from you guys o/
