Now PC players of KSP can feel like they're playing KSP on PS4, but in reality, they're really playing on PC! In all seriousness however, that is absolutely astounding. It's a brilliant idea and I can't believe nobody did it earlier. It's really a shame that my only working PlayStation is a PS2 Slimline with two Dualshock 2 controllers . If I had a DS4 I would certainly use this. I will recommend it to my non-forum-goer-friends.

Try raising the laptop up using a couple pieces of wood. Here is a picture of my setup: The cloth under he wood is just there so that other people in the house don't complain about the table being scratched. Come to think of it, you might even try directing a fan under the laptop if it is raised like that. Another thing you could try is an application called speedfan. It monitors temperatures and can alter fan speeds to provide better cooling for you laptop.

[1.3.0] OPT Space Plane v2.0.1 - updated 29/07/2017
A-Stax32 replied to K.Yeon's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Just insert that into the "J_dropbay.cfg" file. (According to this: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/118362-Drag-cubes One is to replace the Y+ and Y- area values with those of a solid part. Since the J-Fuel Take 4m is precisely the same size as the cargo bay, I took those values and replaced them. Works for me until K. Yeon has the time for an update.) Where exactly did you get those values? I've looked through the .cfg files for the corresponding parts but couldn't find anything like that. Also, is that possible for the K size cargo bay? I would assume so but I'm not sure. -
[1.3.0] OPT Space Plane v2.0.1 - updated 29/07/2017

IIRC you can fix this by checking "non strict part attachment" (something like that) in the alt. F12 debug menu. -
I'm not going to bother with most of my craft. Maybe a few I will want to continue to use but they will need considerable upgrades. For the first couple days however I'll focus on getting used to the new aerodynamics and building new Kerbal Death Machines TM safe and completely up to regulation civilian spacecraft

[1.3.0] Mobile Frame System [MFS] (v0.3.3) [29.05.2017]
A-Stax32 replied to riocrokite's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
What is that? I searched Wikipedia and the closest thing to that that the keyword TES-3 turned up was the TE3, a Soviet diesel locomotive. Where did you find that picture? -
I die. Fortunately I am revived on the red star and sent back to this universe. (bionicle reference) The probe core of my SSTO decides the next poster's face looks like a good spot to land.
-
I am a precog, allowing me to foresee your attack and dodge easily the out of control vehicle. It goes over a large rock causing a blowout which sends the remains of the tire flying towards the next poster's face.

I know that SXT has some airliner parts although last I checked it doesn't have any props other than a tiny 0.625m one.

As far as indie games go ... At least it's got better graphics than Minecraft! Honestly though, I do feel like KSP could have better graphics but I also think that its current state is good because for those who want amazing and very real graphics, there are mods out there that do that. Whereas for those who don't really mind the cartoony state of KSP or want to load their game up on other mods and can't afford to be using high memory visual mods KSP's graphics are fine.

Taking the "Kerbal way" a little too far in the real world.
A-Stax32 replied to NecroBones's topic in The Lounge
Looks like that was pretty scary. Glad you're okay though, wouldn't want to lose a good community member and day of the week. One time I was riding my bike in the rain and took a sharp turn without my hands on the bars. Lack of friction, reckless daring, and the fact that I was wearing sandals all came together to give me nothing more than a small scrape on the toe after I flew off the bike and tumbled over the pavement a couple yards. I also had a collision once when I was checking my front shifter. I looked down to see the sprocket, I look up and the next thing I know I hit a fencepost, good thing only the bike got hurt. -
Running into KSP players in the real world.
A-Stax32 replied to NecroBones's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I have a couple of friends at school who play it, although they only play casually and mostly without mods. I have a feeling some of them only play because they saw some hilarious video on youtube and found the game on steam. -
Mod to permanently change orbit of planets?
A-Stax32 replied to C1maCat's topic in KSP1 Mods Discussions
Maybe I'm recalling incorrectly but I think you can do that with Hyper Edit. Although, I'm not sure you would want to seeing as there are many undesirable possible outcomes from fooling around with Hyper Edit. -
Music to Launch Rockets To - KSP Music Thread
A-Stax32 replied to Steambirds's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I was just about to make thread for this exact purpose. Good thing I saw this first. Anyway, When I'm flying small, atmospheric aircraft (like the ones made by Tape 'n' Glue Industries LLC.) I usually listen to stuff like AC/DC because I feel that it makes my flying much more insane ... interesting. I also like to make sure that the volume is at least half of the maximum. Did I mention I wear headphones? -
Jeb has been standing about a quarter of a kilometer behind the runway facing towards the KSC for the past several months. i don't even recall how he got there. I think that he bailed out of a prototype aircraft as it was about to crash (no idea how he survived). My pilots tend to do that a lot.

That ship in the picture looks kind of like the Enterprise from Star Trek. I do believe that there is a mod that parts for the Enterprise although I'm not sure whether or not it still works with 0.90 (I've only ever watched the original series so I don't know what iteration of the enterprise that is, if it even is the enterprise.)

[1.12.x] Mark IV Spaceplane System (August 18, 2024)
A-Stax32 replied to Nertea's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I saw the title and was hoping for a revival of TouhouTorpedo's MK-IV system. Although this isn't the same I do like it. I certainly like the great amount of diversity in the parts for this more than TouhouTorpedo's pack. -
Sorry about that, it seems you were given the wrong soup. I do believe that the poisoned batch was for the politicians in the next booth. Ahem, waiter? waiter! Waiter! WAITER! WAITER! It does appear that Carl Sagan's face is in my soup.

The "You know you're playing a lot of KSP when..." thread
A-Stax32 replied to Phenom Anon X's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I know i play too much KSP when I'm watching a youtube video on a craft or mod for KSP and try panning the view. Why does my game keep stopping when i pan the view? -
That looks beautiful. I will immediately replace the original Tape 'n' Glue logo with yours. I will be sure to credit you for your amazing work. Thanks a lot for your hard work.
-
banned for having an image in you sig that doesn't fit completely
-
Sounds like what I usually do
-
I like the first logo a lot, would it be possible for you to include "ape" and "lue" beside 'T' and 'G' respectively? Also, would you mind making the white background transparent? It looks great otherwise. Looks good but you were right, it doesn't exactly stress the whole budget minded ideals of Tape 'n' Glue Industries LLC. However we will be sure to use this logo for fund-raisers and shareholder meetings.
