  6. ok, your brother is likely either on a separate computer or in a completely different location. You need to know what the IP address is of the machine you're running the server on for him to connect. The IP 127.0.0.1 is likely a root/local ip which works the same as using the Localhost as the IP address. To find out the IP address of your machine on a LAN you need to up a command prompt and type ipconfig you're looking for you IPv4 Address. It should be something like 192.168.32.2 it usually starts with 192.168 but he last to numbers vary based on the type of lan and how many computers you have on the lan. If he's in a separate house altogether you'll need to visit a site like http://www.nirsoft.net/show_my_ip_address.php. Also, if you're in a separate house from your brother you'll likely need to activate connection routing on your router which is done by setting up a virtual server in your router configurations. If you need those instructions please let me know and I'll go into detail.
  7. That makes perfect sense. I don't actually run mods on my server so that's not a message I've seen before. Thanks for the info, I'm sure it'll be useful when it comes up again.
  8. Unfortunately, I didn't develop the server itself only the GUI to streamline it. That little issue would be best directed towards Darklight/Godarklight, the guy who developed the server itself. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/...13-godarklight You can send a PM to him or go to his forum for DMP here http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/...P-0-23-5-Alpha. I haven't personally run into this problem so I'm not sure exactly what's going on but I'm positive he can assist you. Thanks for the complement, I'll be releasing updates to it periodically so keep checking back. Sloth

  10. There was only slight sarcasm in what I was saying. Honestly, I hadn't thought of asking to combine the threads.
  11. That's true. I didn't think about that. Yet another great suggestion. You're on a roll.
  12. Good to know since I can't actually delete this thread or the other so I think I'll just maintain this one and leave the other one go. Thanks for your concern though, I don't tend to like making an ass of myself when trying to promote my work.
  13. Alright, came across a bug that was introduce because of the new version. Should be fixed now with the release of 1.1.2. If anyone comes across any other issues please let me know. Also, if you have any suggestions for future updates we'd love to know. Thanks, Sloth
  14. I see that's good to know. Is there a rule stating this somewhere or is this just a courtesy thing?
  15. If anyone's curious we're still working out the kinks for Mac and Linux but the update for that is coming!
  16. For those of you who haven't seen the other post the 0.24 version of the GUI is now on the sins gaming website. So go check out 1.1.1! Thanks everyone!
  17. For those of you who haven't seen the other post the 0.24 version of the GUI is now on the sins gaming website. So go check out 1.1.1! Thanks everyone!
  18. Hey Everyone! Just uploaded our update for the 0.24 version of KSP. It requires all clients to be running the Dev build of DMP but it works perfectly from all the tests we've run thus far. Please let us know if you have any trouble and we'll address it. Update: Version 1.1.3 has been released. It is now comes with the new DMP 0.1.5.0 which is the new stable version of dark multiplayer! http://sinsgaming.altervista.org/ Thanks, Sloth This work is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License. 19. I really appreciate the advice. I wasn't planning on overhauling the the layout until I get some other functionality built in. One of the major parts that is planned is an auto updater for both DMP and the GUI so that further downloading is unnecessary. You make a very good point though about how the buttons are laid out. It's probably going to be Version 2 by the time the majority of your suggestions will be implemented though.
  20. Alright, as I'm sure you're all aware DMP stopped functioning because of the the 0.24 release. As soon as I confirm that a new DMP update is compatible with the release we will make the necessary adjustments and release version 1.1.1 of the GUI. Keep checking back, I'll let you all know!
  21. And actually that's an old image since this is pre-version 1. The current version1.1 has dekessler and nukeksc built into button functions.
  22. HELLO MAC AND LINUX USERS! Just got word back from a tester and it seems 1.1 is still not ready for you guys. So, keep checking back as soon as we get the kinks worked out I'll let you know with version 1.2. Thanks, Sloth
  23. We're going to be putting Linux and Mac functionality in place sooner rather than later. We should have Version 1.1 out sometime tomorrow. If you would like more information or would like to suggest something to be in an up coming update please let us know. Thanks, Sloth
  24. I appreciate the help. Probably should have thoroughly read the rules before posting. I think I've got what I need now. Thanks!
