I tried my joystick. Even for aircraft, it's at best unneeded. I found it simply annoying and quickly unplugged it. I would recommend turning the sensitivity down a ways, especially for Roll. edit: I like that controller configuration, I might have to try that.

Good commentary that anyone can enjoy. Avoid memes or inside jokes or repetitiousness. Webcam on streamer can be good, but not necessary. It depends. The length of the stream doesn't really matter. What matters is the quality of the stream when I'm watching. Cosmetic mods are always nice. Otherwise, keep it vanilla. Quirky parts like "Robotics" are fun, but if you're using modded engines and/or modded wings, etc., I'll instantly lose interest. Having clear objectives are good, but be willing to go with the flow if there's an interesting sort of distraction. Just my $0.02

So we're still getting SteamDB updates.

Makes me happy to see this. The structure of the game is at a good place, but what's needed is cleaning and bug-squashing, especially if they're committed to making use of 64-bit. And it looks like they're not wasting any time. Kudos to Squad. -
HotRockets! Particle FX Replacement + Tutorial

I can 100% confirm Archgeek's post as well. I'm only using Navball, Mechjeb, and this mod. The engines on my previously saved craft have all the problems Archmage mentioned. But if I use the same engines on a new craft, they're fine. -
My hypetrain has pulled into station. The engineer and conductor are tired and delirious and can't go any further. If they're releasing experimentals today, even if they're close to perfect... they still have to test them. Hopefully the testing shows everything is all just about perfect and ready for release... but even in that ideal scenario, it's more likely we'll see the release tomorrow or later in the week. I wouldn't bet on today, and certainly wouldn't give it 50/50 odds. Day is over halfway done as is, especially in terms of work hours.

Even in its "Alpha" stage, with its incomplete Career mode (soon to be substantially upgraded), I've put more time in and gotten more enjoyment out of this game than any other. And I've been playing games since the 80's when I got my first Nintendo. Every other game I have has been completely neglected since I installed KSP. 265 hours on my Steam counter... and it's not slowing down. I'm so glad you guys are doing what you do. Please keep up the good work. Thanks.
